I've seen these strongman types in fighting situations before and frankly they're so powerful and ponderous that they have big difficulty in bringing that power to bear. For example:

Speed is far more important in boxing than mere power unless the opponent is stupid enough to walk right into you.

He'll only be effective if his strength is functional.

In MMA and wrestling size, power and weight are much more decisive, when handling a guy half your size and who can't lift half the weight you can skills play a minor role.
This red hair kid is a good fighter, you can see him in Strelka and many other fighting championships, if this was boxing he would have killed the big guyz that's one of the reason boxing is my favourite sport

I watched the highlights to the fight and nearly fell asleep. From what I seen, Ward outboxed him pretty easily, looked like he was barely trying

Someone needs to find that Superstars clip of Frazier unable to press 135 lbs overhead (I’ve seen it but can’t find it)

He’d be better off going into MMA like Pudzianowski. At least then he could impose his size on guys.

Someone must have invoked the trial by combat clause.

Even in MMA , you have to have skills beside size and power. He would get submitted or chocked out in MMA. Look at Bob Sap

Bob did beat Ernesto Hoost and beat the hell out of Nogueira, despite losing, on size alone. Which suggests that if he wasn't a mental midget and trained hard and put the same effort he put into those fights he wouldn't have had such a sad career.
