i love this expression. How do you 'live' in a cardboard box? Is it classed as cheap Real Estate? Has it a resell value? Can a smaller box be attached to act as a dinette or en-suite? Did he keep his toothbrush in a police call box like Top Cat?

Boxers seem to amass sympathy more than any other sportsmen when they go broke.
The picture of a hard done by fighter tugs at the heart strings.

**** em I say! If you spunk tens of millions up the wall then that's on you, you ain't getting sympathy from me!

They get more sympathy because I’m pretty sure getting hit in the head for a living affects your decisions when it comes to money.

Tyson and he can't stop blaming Don King for it. You blew $400 million dude. It's safe to say that with his bad habits in those days, $800 million would have went the same way.

If you adjust for inflation, it could be an old timer. In actual sums, probably Tyson so far, and FMJ will probably outspend him.

I don't know about losing the most money, but it broke my heart to hear that Joe Frazier was living in his gym during his final years. If I'm wrong about that, please correct me.

It seemed that he had it together, between Cloverlay, his gym, his management company & training boxers, and a home in the 'burbs. Anybody have any insight as to what went wrong (if indeed it did)?
