Styles make fights, like Frazier did, covidkin would try to get inside and foreman would have used his incredible strength to push him out of fighting range, just like he did Joe Frazier, and then hit him at will, like he did Joe.

 

That is not ducking. He was just unable to fight and retired due to his depression and all that stuff. Fury himself said if he could go back in time, he would like to fight klitschko in a rematch.

You want to see him fight Joshua for what exactly because he has zero chance of lasting longer than 7 rounds.

Smith Tucker and others clinched the hell out of prime Tyson but he still beat them easily on points. No way Povetkin beats Klitschko with or without clinches simply because if he was that good he would have gotten a 1-2 scoring punches in before every clinch like Tyson did, therefore winning him a decision.
Fouls and illegal tactics can make a difference in a close fight, but that was not competitive, sorry.

And in his "prime" from 2013-2017 he was roided out so clearly that the naked eye could tell the difference in his physique both before and after that time period.
Just like the naked eye could tell how Canelo's body changed after he got caught vs GGG the first time.

From what I've seen Prime Povetkin is likely David Tua—Ike Ibeabuchi—Ray Mercer Tier. VERY formidable but not A+ level with the likes of Ali/Lewis/Tyson/Foreman/Klitschko brothers

 

Prime povetkin probably would have wiped that version of Aj out but Ajs gotten better since then and he likely has a couple more years till he reaches his absolute peak. We'll wait and see
