Charles Martin is being heavily rumoured to be Wilders next opponent.

Who do you think wins this fight and how?

I think it will be interesting fight to decide who is the third best American HW after Hunter and Ruiz. I Can see this going either way.

As good as it would be to see Martin score a KO again Wilder, I think Deontay stops him in 4-6 rounds.

Wilder would knock him out within 6

Probably get out boxed for periods but eventually hits the spot

Martins chin is decent but not holding up to windmills power

only seen Washington vs Joshua and everything since. none of which has been that impressive. i guess his performance against Washington was pretty good.

i guess the real factor here is whether Wilder has really lost all his confidence bc if he hesitates with that right hand and now that his mystique is obliterated i imagine Martin will want to go right in there and try and KO him. Martin doesn't have those Fury reflexes and skills with the head movement, so if Wilder is on I imagine he KO's Martin, but the intangibles are interesting enough to make the fight palatable.

Wilder maybe really is best suited to just gatekeep and knock out the big plodders so they don't logjam the ratings. he's entertaining when he's winning but really got old when he faced adversity.

wilder stops him in four , except he is completely shot from the fury defeat. martin makes a good comeback opponent with little risk

Solid fight between two big unskilled bangers. Reminds me of David Izon - Derrick Jefferson.

Martin has done well since the loss to AJ. But he is a very unpredictable fighter.

It depends on what mentality Martin comes into the fight with. If he comes into the fight awake and alert, and focused he probably outboxes Wilder for 7-8 rounds before being stopped late.

If he comes into the fight so laid back he is half asleep, Wilder bombs him out in 3-4 rounds. He cant afford to fight like he did for the first 6 rounds vs Kownacki or how he did vs AJ

I can't see this going more than 2 rounds. I think Wilder will have confidence against Martin and catch him very early.

Wilder early. If not, that says a lot about Wilder and how far back he's slipped.

Martin can neither outbox or outpunch Wilder so unless DW is completely shot (a possibility) then an easy KO win for Deontay inside 5 rounds.

I don’t mind this fight. Wilder could’ve taken a softer touch as a comeback opponent. Martin being a lefty will give him lots to think about.

I’m still picking wilder to stop Martin but I think he’ll give wilder a harder fight than expected

I think Martin can out box Wilder. Just look at their fights against Washington. Martin won every round before KOing Washington. Wilder on the other hand lost several rounds to washington whose jab caused Wilder issues.

Martin would probably be Wilders best win after Ortiz.

Wilder destroys Martin with a straight right early to mid rounds.

One thing we do know is that both these guys beat glass jawed Dillian Whyte and Wilder destroys glass jawed AJ if they ever met. Fury and Joyce are the best UK HWs by a mile.
