Interesting video. It highlights how few punches Loma actually threw. He threw less than I originally thought. I had the fight scored 8-4 Lopez, now I have it 10-2 Lopez. Thanks for the insight.

Damn so I had originally scored it 6-6, but it's pretty clearly 7-5 if not 8-4 for Loma.

And that's WITH a torn shoulder!

I would pay for a PPV of those judges really trying to justify how they got to those crazy cards.

A torn shoulder can do that

Didn't look too torn after the first 6 rounds.

Once again this just show how bad compubox is and relying on it. As well as listen to the commentators.
You should watch such fight either closely or multiple times to understand who really should have won.
Its kinda the same with GGG - Canelo 2. I had GGG winning watching on the first time, but after see the replay i had GGG winning even widely, cause GGG blocked so many punches, that compubox somehow "score for power punching", even tho they wasn`t landing at all.
But is it the system, or just a bias using of it ?
For me the fight with Lopez was a draw. Tho Lomachenko should have start throwing way earlier. He was winning quite easy when he start doing it.

Loma wins the rematch clearly. He fought too scared, he was constantly thinking defense and getting out of the way rather than return fire.

If they fought another five times Loma would win every one

People will see it as an excuse but he wasn’t confident with that shoulder imo, then you get the surgery pics after that puts it to bed for me. He hasn’t been right since the last surgery on the same shoulder, I see this as maybe the reason he won’t be around much longer

He didn’t want to throw it, then he had no choice as the rounds were passing by. He wasn’t 100% going in, Lopez himself said “he’s on his way out”. His last few performances were not him at his best down to surgery, I expect him to be further from being 100% with every performance until he retires after the last lot of surgery. Great fighter coming to the end imo

Lopez won 7-5 but if lomachenko pushes the action from the start I think he wins definitely I believe. Unless Lopez has learned a lot from the first fight and has improved even more then who knows
