Got me thinking to early in the morning. Lol I don’t think he ever beats Lewis when Lewis is at his best. Tyson though...i think Holy might just have Tysons number. I think it’s a slightly closer fight but Tysons stamina issues existed in his prime as well as later on. His trainers admitted as much.

Beats Tyson but is probably in a three-fight series with Lewis to settle it. He beats Tyson twice as does Lewis.

Beats them both. Lewis couldnt dominate an old Holy. Lol prime Holy stops him late. Makes him quit. Lewis didn't like to be out of his comfort zone. He starts cracking when he is

Gotta tell ya, if Holy is in 1 corner vs Lewis & Tyson at the same time, then he has to pull a Jack Johnson. During battle royals, Johnson would put his back to a corner and that way it became 1 on 1. Question? Will they have their eyes covered like in real battle royals?

Prime Lewis beats prime Holyfield. Old Holyfield did do surprisingly well in the rematch, winning 4-5 rounds, but was soundly beaten the first time around in that BS draw. Lennox is always going to have the edge of being simply a much larger guy who also has an excellent jab and huge right hand to dictate a lot of the tempo. Maybe Evander takes one fight if they have a trilogy.

Holyfield and Tyson is tougher for me to pick. Part of me thinks Tyson might be too much with his mix of speed and power, along with Holyfield’s tendency to brawl when unnecessary. Holyfield said he learned from the Bowe fights to be more controlled in his aggression. He fought smart against Tyson, picking his spots when to be more aggressive and when to hold. He clinched quite a bit, and it helped that he was a bigger and stronger guy by then. Holyfield could be hurt or slowed to the body and Tyson was an excellent body puncher.

On the other hand, Holyfield may have always had Tyson’s number. Needless to say, he was a great fighter. Fast hands and movement, excellent combos, technically sound, incredible will to win. He was basically obsessed with beating Tyson and it’s not hard to see him always raise his game for Tyson. He was mentally tougher than Tyson, who was more of a frontrunner and prone to frustration.

I lean ever so slightly towards Evander.

Think in a trilogy he goes 1-2 against Lewis and 3-0 against Tyson

In my opinion Lennox Lewis was the best HW champ since his own idol Muhammad Ali. If Lennox had taken McCall & Rahman seriously he would have gone out only the second undefeated champ with Rocky Marciano
You cannot party with movie stars & arrive late in S Africa when youre fighting for the titles !!. He put the record straight in the rematches tho didnt he

Prime Mike takes Holy apart after 6 rounds. Prime Holy was a great, great fighter but he would have chosen to fight with Mike. Bad idea.

Holy would be aggressor against Steward-era Lewis and would probably be more busy. SD for Holyfield, though I imagine Lewis would rock him more than once.

Strangely, though pre-Steward Lewis wasn't the fighter latter era was, at least quality-wise, his early style would have been harder for Holy. That Lewis was more aggressive and far less cautious. Holy couldn't have stood up to those punches, TKO for Lewis in 9 at the most.

Its nauseating that Lewis loyalists continually dismiss the one punch wipeouts he suffered to McCall and Rahman. Even if you believe they were largely due to his overconfidence and lack of preparation they are still a blight on his record. Part of being a champion is having a professional attitude. And no the McCall rematch was not really impressive as Oliver was totally out of it mentally and Lewis still couldn't hurt him.

The people that should be ashamed are those that allowed Oliver McCall to get in the ring at all. He was obviously having a breakdown & was in no condition to fight. Lennox was trying NOT to hurt him
Lennox KO of Rahman was perfect how Rahman's head ended up perfectly in the King's crown logo on the canvas lol He was out COLD!!!!

Holyfield beats a prime Tyson. A prime Lewis is a tough one, I think if they had a trilogy Holyfield would probably win one fight and lose the other two
