This content is protected Seems to be a lot of noise that this will get made. What a great fight if it does. How do people see it going? Joyce's relentless style I think will be far too much for Usyk
Majorly left of centre, depending on restrictions etc, could they put this on in Poland, I imagine Usyk would get punters there
Possible but unlikely this year as you’d need the vaccine rollout to go very well in both countries. This fight needs to happen by the Summer at the latest if the title situation is sorted out.
WBO has provisionally ordered the winner of Fury v AJ to fight Usyk or Joyce within 180 days of their undisputed match. This is all sounding very promising.
Personally think Usyk makes him look silly but Joyce seems confident and Usyk did struggle with Chisora’s pressure.
I picked Joyce to stop Dubois but usyk will always be the wrong style for Joyce and he beats him everyday of the week.
A fight almost guaranteed to go 12 rounds. I rather enjoy watching both guys fight but stylistically this has potential to be an absolute stinker imo. Think Usyk probably cruises to a points decision.
Why would they do that when they know full well Joshua V Fury will be a 2 fight deal? Honestly they should just strip Joshua of the WBO and be done with it.
Wouldn’t write Joyce off based on the WSB. I fancy Usyk, he’s quality, however after his heavyweight performances I’m not sure he makes the impact on the division that I once predicted. (Him to beat Joshua and Fury).
So that the first fight is for the unified world title - which is what everyone wants. Once that champion is crowned then belts can and will be vacated.
Either AJ needs to fight Usyk, or pay him a step aside. I dont see why Usyk would step aside and take on a high risk opponent like Joyce for one strap. When he could just wait it out, and face AJ for all the belts (except for the WBC). Assuming that AJ v Fury doesnt happen next. If Usyk is suckered into step aside and facing Joyce, then I think he wins a decision something like 8-4 or 7-5. I think Joyce wins 3 out of the first 4 rounds, and then Usyk takes over and dominates.
