Not being sexiest or neither do I have anything against women boxing or women’s sport. But I just can’t get into it.... seems most cards now have 1 female fight on. They just don’t hold my attention !!!

How long before the bbbofc have to make British Titles for women!!

Strange, I count the womens fight on UFC cards as equals.

I don't think it helps when stuff like Courtenay vs that Polish lass who was absolutely atrocious is being made out to be world class level boxing.

My issue with women’s boxing is that it seems to be used to pad out PPV with cheap to put on World Title fights.

I’d also prefer three minute rounds over two minute rounds even if that meant a reduction in rounds boxed. Two minute rounds are too short for the pro game.

I don’t know why boxing doesn’t take something from the UFC, Dana white is constantly laughing at the sport when it’s mentioned.
I’d suggest making women’s fights 5 x3’s for most fights and either 8x3 or 10x3 for world title fights. Extends the rounds and should allow for more rhythm and knockouts in fights which is what fans want. Offer knockout and performance bonuses to undercard fighters, perhaps include any fight British title level and below in that bonus bracket as the pay isn’t massive and a bonus gives incentive to raise performance levels.

There's just not much depth in women's boxing. Katie Taylor is clearly skilled, but some of her opponents look very amateurish. If the standard improves, I could get into it more. Some might think that's sexist, but then I genuinely look forward to, and enjoy women's UFC fights.
I think Eddie looked at what Dana was doing with the Women in UFC and wants to emulate their success. The difference though is the UFC is in such a great position as they don't have to go far to find talent, they can tap into other sports like Judo (Ronda Rousey) Kickboxing (Holy Holm) Brazilian Ju Jitsu (Mackenzie Dern) Most of these Martial arts don't pay well and the UFC draws the stars to them.

I find Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron good to watch plus it would be rude not to be keeping abreast of developments with Ebanie Bridges.

At least Katie Taylor is decent and keeps herself to herself. Can't go on Youtube these days without a video of Terri Harper and Stefy Bull popping up.

I’ve got no interest in and don’t like when Hearn says an upcoming show will have a world title fight and then it inevitably ends up being between 2 amateurish women weighting about 8 stone each.

Sky Sports news even reporting breaking news of matches called off in the women's football these days.

It is being rammed right up us along with Black Knives Matter.

Got suckered in not long back. Not really up to date on football anymore but occasionally look at the transfers on BBC Sport, saw Man Utd have signed a foreigner I'd not heard of, clicked on the article out of curiosity to see who they are etc and it was the women's side. Proper reeled me in the b*stards.

Same here, enjoy female fights on UFC but 90% of womens boxing bores me senseless, not all bad I suppose gives you time to make a brew and not have to worry that you've missed anything.

Yep, the BBC and Sky are making out that a sport with virtually no fanbase or appeal is almost at the same level as the Premier League.

One of the reasons I enjoy boxing is I love to see a good old knockout. With women’s boxing the KO rate is considerably lower so straight away you’re taking away one of the things a lot of people enjoy seeing.

Women fighting MMA has worked a lot better as you’ve always got the chance of a submission, and to a lesser extent the 4oz gloves slightly increase the chance of a KO.

Not really my bag and I tend to zone out during most women’s fights but fair enough if the quality is decent.

The problem is that it isn’t for the most part, and you’ve got Hearn and Sky pushing many of these joke fights as legitimate undercard and even main event fights masquerading as some kind of victory for equality and feminism. In reality we all know it’s because they’re dead cheap fights to make.

But had in not been for Covid, Katie Taylor would have almost certainly headlined a PPV by now, so every cloud eh?

Oh, and for the love of god keep it as two minute rounds so it’s done quicker. I really don’t buy the argument that three minute rounds will result in more KOs, I just think it’ll lead to longer, duller, one sided fights where the home fighter just can’t knock the opponent out.
