It's a real shame Xu pulled out of the unification fight. Perhaps the right move for Josh if he's looking to make big moves in the division, hopefully he gets through Mauricio Lara and can land a big fight with either Gary Russell Jr or Can Xu.

Very sad to see from him. The fight with Galahad was horrid but it's the best he can get and needs to happen again, the other champions or top fighters at the weight - GRJ and Navarette aren't fighting him with the promotional differences, very poor overall. Should have stayed with fisheyes.

Big issue for him is he now brings no belt to the table. The likes of Russell jr Will want paying big time for the risk of fighting him as a voluntary.

my guess is he fights Xu and waits to be made super champ when everyone realises Santa Cruz isn’t ever coming back to the division

Galahad is poison. You can't look good against him but you could very well lose to him. Add to that the fact that you'll never earn really top money fighting him and he's in a Who Needs Him Club all of his own.
If I was managing any Featherweight I would avoid Galahad, go the long way round if need be and make him someone else's headache.

No matter who was managing Warrington, he was never taking that KG fight and I don’t blame him at all for the reasons you just said. The problem now is he actually needs to get these fights they’re talking about.

And without that big crowd in Leeds. Fast Eddie's life doesn't get any easier does it ?

Who cares about Hearn in all this? He’s a roach.

Its about the boxers mate, not some smarmy promoter.

Warrington is now a bloody hard fight for anyone in the division with 0 belt up for grabs.

Unless the money is mega you wouldn't go anywhere near him?

Makes no sense whatsoever, unless of course he doesn’t fancy his chances.

To me it seems he’s scared that Galahad will wreck his dream of a big pay day and possibly American one. If this was a routine defence no way you take Lara over it.

    Strange strange decision.

Totally agree! He reminds me of Junior Witter. High risk low reward. Hard to look good against and not exactly exciting to watch.

I just dont see why anyone would fancy fighting Warrington now. Him vs the Chineese lad I cant see doing much in terms of PPV numbers.
