I agree for the most part. The 90s was one of the strongest eras for the heavyweight scene. Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Tua, Moorer, Foreman, etc were all really good competition and I think would totally destory most heavyweights from the 1930s and 40s except for Baer, Schmeling, and Louis. Perhaps a few others but those are the 3 that come to mind.

If you magically teleported Ike from the Tua/Byrd fights to the 1930s/40s and he replaces Louis in those fights he probably does pretty well. Now if you leave him in the 30s and 40s pretty sure he ends up the same way he did present day, maybe worse.

And like a lot of these what if threads, Ike also has all the benefits of the ever evolving training/nutriton/drugs an athlete has access to from the 90s.

There was not one but three other similar allegations. Where there's smoke there's fire and in this case the smoke was billowing.

But dont you think it a little suspicious that the other supposed previous **** allegations only surfaced AFTER Ike was charged with this offence ?? why werent they reported at the time??
Youre right in saying where theres smoke theres fire but the smoke is just allegations not proof it happened. Before condemning anyone you need proof neither of the hookers were harmed. If a man the size of Ike has attacked any on them they'd surely have been hurt.. Do you really believe that hooker went t Ike's room just to dance for him lol c'mon man
Ike obviously has mental problems that everyone chose to ignore all they seem to have been interested in was $$$$$$$$$$$$$ they could make out of him

This sort of thing (after the fact) happens all the time. It's a common phenomena. Look at Weinstein among countless others. Sometimes it's real sometimes it might not be.

It doesn't take an Einstein to work out Ike had immense problems. The guy was deranged. He thought he was a President at one stage for gods sake. He was a danger to society. There's a reason things ended like they did.

One can assault someone without having intent to kill them or using 100% of their force you know. In fact it's obviously common otherwise many women assaulted by men would be dead.

I knew Ike from 1993 till he was jailed & saw him on a daily basis when he was training & I never heard him ever claim to be President .lol That ring name came from President Eisenhour who's name was Ike.
Dont believe everything you hear. The way some talk you'd think he was a monster , he wasnt but neither was he a choir boy what pro fighter is??
He has mental problems but never got the help he needed . All they were interested in was the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ they could make off him

A better question is would he hold it together long enough to get a title fight?

He didn't even manage that in his own era.

Walcott would have out-boxed and maybe Charles too, Schmeling with have given him problems and landed tons of shots.

Agree 100%. Louis’s focus and consistency at always being prepared is what made him great
