I heard they were looking into the B sample of the test on december 30th bad news is he was popped again on Jan 7th. he will need to Pass both B tests for his name to be clear. even with tainted substance he will likely get at least a 6 month ban. not good given his age. source https://www.*******.com/sergey-kovalev-fails-second-test-synthetic-testosterone--154952
He must have read my original comment saying he may as well keep on juicing now that's he caught. Apparently that wasn't good advice.
it's just he had two tests within 10 days. it's now very unlikely they can over turn with a B test. there's a chance contamination of substances but even then he'd still be suspended. if someone like canelo can get suspended than Kovalev will for sure. I havent heard of suspension or anything but Canelo got 6 months.
It's obvious that he's been on the downslope for some time and just thought "**** it, gonna juice and get my mojo back" As it turns out, that plan wasn't thought out too well. RIP Kovalev.
Excellent. The tests show us that the PEDs are now deep in his system, doing their dark work. A suspension will only allow more enhancement. Years of corruption and vilification have created this monster. And there is no stopping him now. Dark Kovalev will soon be with us ...
Probably just bad timing. I suspect most old guys are juicing in some way. It helps overcome injuries and improve performance. Kov appears to have been sloppy or careless. He’s done anyway, trying to get a final payday. I don’t see it happening at this stage. He needs to hang it up.
The B sample is usually the same as the A one. Just taken at a different time interval I dont know why people are surprised. If I was Kovalev I would keep on juicing during the ban and rebase in Russia.
I'm holding out hopes he had some roided up roast beast for the holidays, and they can back that up with evidence. If that's not the case then he should retire immediately. While this is bad, and horrible way to end his career, coming back and getting knocked the **** out would be even worse.
looking forward to seeing this evidence. nobody would make such a reckless claim without any, would they?
He had a great career, made a lot of money, he may as well stop now. It's a long way back and he's well past his best.
I've never seen someone decline so fast. 4 years ago he was facing the P4P star in Andre Ward (and beat him, arguably) and just 2 years later he is getting sparked out cold by a roided up former 154lb fighter in Canelo. ....but.....that's what alcoholism and substance abuse does to you....I mean, just look at Conor McGregor. The guy is 32 years old and looks like a 50 year old man in the face.
