Haha But seriously, boxing is all about action so this fight will better than say Floyd v Pac which was like a non contract sport.
Who cares Brooks punch resistance lately is looking as bad as Khans always has been If it happens someone would be chicken dancing very soon in the first or second round, it would be a comedy fight.
No I would not buy it. This has about as much interest as any fight would between two shot fighters who are only now in it for a retirement slush fund. Khan genuinely hates Kell, which is about the only angle they could sell this fight from. The personal grudge aspect. I don’t get the sense Brook has that same level of hate in return. Khan hates Brook so much that he turned down the mega money fight 3-4 times and instead fought lesser names for less money. All because he didn’t want to give Brook a pay day.
I see it the other way. I think Kell hates Khan which is why he’s ruined his own career chasing that one fight, whilst Khan has eyes for money only and keeping himself relevant for another pay day. Very funny that Khan ****ed Kell off on his last match room fight - Hearn must have felt sick!
At one point Kell really did resent Khan. Years back on Ringside you could tell it was genuine. Khan looked down on Kell and maybe in later years took a dislike to him. Now who knows. Brook threw his career away for PPV loot against GGG, and Khan's chin (plus rashness/delusion) let him down time and again after such a good start to his career. I think at this point there's only one strong feeling they both share, and that's to extract one final bag of swag from the public for a completely pointless fight that stopped being relevant years ago. I'm sure afterwards there'll be zero animosity. Just shake hands on a job well done like Haye and Bellew did.
Good point about haye and bellew. I still think that 34 is not too old and they should do it now. Didn't Khan avoid brook to get better fights though???
Khan has said his mum has pancreatic cancer, which is dreadful news. Hope she manages to recover, but it’s never a good prognosis.
These two will be 75 years old and still saying they'll fight each other next. Facts are, Khan has never wanted the fight and will never take the fight. I'm not saying he's scared of Kell Brook but I think he is scared to lose to Kell Brook. Time and time again Khan has moved the goal posts on this fight and thats the reason it's never happened. He's to blame.
Pretty sure Kell Brooks dad has messed up the negotiations before. Apparently he is one of the main issues with Kell and his path.
There was a time when this fight would have been massive, that time has passed now. At this point, I don't think fans really care if they fight each other or not.
Certainly is now or never. No way near as good as it would have been but c Mon.. One last Khan smashing baby giraffe dance would be fun to see.. Or a Khan speed show on brook's eyeball.
