    Garcia does extremely well against smaller fighters, albeit smaller level C fighters, Pac is an ATG who beat a younger level B Champ in his last fight.

    So the question is, can Garcia be better than Thurman? Maybe, but probably not. Garcia lacks experience but he does have youth.

    My prediction would be Pac by UD after giving Garcia a lesson.

    I wouldn't count on Garcia completely, he can land a hook on Pac coming in.

    All Manny has to do is go a few rounds and he can win. Garcia is not ready for many at the top. This is not a fight worth putting on.

    This wasn't even on my radar.

    Well... damn.

    Im... intrigued... this is a cant miss fight and hops near the front of the fights Im looking forward to most so far for 2021, but I can't help but feel this is a strange fight to be making right now for Garcia.

    Not really sure I understand where his management is coming from on this UNLESS they have some sort of inside info that Pac has regressed a level in the gym since the Thurman fight.

    Maybe they are hoping that the even more age, combined with the inactivity, combined with a possible weight drain, will be enough to even the odds.

    Anyways... Im in.

    It’s been 18 months since Pac last fought and he’s 42 at WW/JWW.

    Depending on how shot Pac is, Ryan may actually have a chance.

    We’ve seen this before. Pac going up to face ODLH. Canelo going up to face Kovalev. Cotto fighting Martinez.

    If Pac is even close form to his last fight, Garcia gets ktfo early.

    I always get a chuckle when anyone calls Pac by KO.

    Question is, and although it’s a long shot, how much credit will Garcia get should he get the W against a 42-year old Pac?

    Passing of the torch.
    Beating Manny will make Ryan a superstar like when Oscar beat Chavez.
    But i think he is just teasing - no way his management will let him do this....too risky.

    If the fight happens with ryan garcia it’ll be exhibition match confirmed by pacman in an interview. Pacquiao also said the fight with crawford and spence is still possible. Hes next fight will be announce this coming weekend. Lets wait and see.
