Hes always in the shadows Never ever even been ranked the best domestically! At super bantamweight he was always behind Carl Frampton, Scott Quigg and Rendall Munroe At featheweight Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton again were always ahead of him, as was Lee Selby and Josh Warrington. Always in the shadows, never the best.
Lost a very tight decision to Warrington. I guess the drugs ban set him back abit. Hopefully, he can win something soon.
Because he's crap. And bores Everyone to sleep Him.vs Jazza is a Domestic level British title level fight . What a weak division it must be.
Anyone know why he calls himself "Kid Galahad" when his name is Abdul Barry Awad? I'd be interested in hearing the story behind it.
Interesting then that the proclaimed #1 in the division has ran a country mile to avoid fighting him in a rematch of a first fight most think he lost.
Galahad was always bang average mouthy hypejob. Yet his fans laughably overhyped him to be something he never was. Rendall Monroe beat Martinez twice about 14 years ago in leisure centre. Frampton beat Kiko twice about 9 years ago, Quigg KO'd him in 2 rounds.. 5 years ago. Josh Warrington beat him. Even Zelfa Barrett beat him. Galahad got knocked the **** out by him when he could almost be considered a journeyman now!
