Just announced for the Whyte Povetkin II undercard. Good fight between two well matched young fighters. I'm Leaning towards Kongo to get the win here. Was really impressed with the way he won his last fight against Luther Clay.
Good fight this! both are at that point where they should be pushed on but haven’t really done so yet. 50/50 fight for me, Kongo can win this on work rate behind the jabs but mckinson can cause him all sorts of problems and more than clay did
Mckinson should do enough to win on points, but I have a feeling the judges will lean towards Kongo, considering he is Dillian Whyte's fighter.
Good fight, let's face it the card does need it as the main event is truly awful as a PPV. I see it the same way fairly close, Kongo getting a decision as he is probably being lined up to face another one of Matchrooms fighters at WW next.
Hardly going to set the pulses racing on the PPV card that one !! Good for the purist but hardly one for the casual ppv moron that wants to see a KO!! Think Kongo pisses this..... McKinson awkward but very very basic... doesn’t move his feet just sways back hands by his chest.... ok when you boxing someone that’s 5ft8 but not Kongo height and reach! Kongo 8-10 round stoppage McKinson well over rated
Really good fight, disappointed it has landed on a PPV, as the angling club can occasionally have line issues.
Neither would last 12 with Kelly or Benn Kongo got decapitated by Sam Bowen LOL Expect Kongo to get cleaned up when he steps up to a decen level
Wow - hadnt seen this before! If KOd like that as an amateur it will be interesting to see how his chin holds up further down the line but Mckinson is feather-fisted
Kongo should beat Mckinson who whilst is likely (ever so slightly) more skilled, he doesn’t have the power or experience to keep Kongo away. Kongo 8-4 / 9-3 points.
Not a bad fight. The undercard here is pretty decent, just at a lower level than needed for a PPV card.
How on earth has British boxing got to the stage where Whyte is a PPV fighter, and in a position that he can book all his own talent on his undercards? Guys creaming it despite being oh so average
