Pacquiao Marquez I - judge did not score KD correctly on scorecard robbing Pacquiao of the victory. Pacquiao Marquez IV - a roided Marquez lands a lucky shot and doesn’t grant a rematch
He wasnt 100% fit should never have been in there. Then he was railroaded big time when he was. He was an innocent man who's only crime was to kick Cotto's ass Legitimately !! & man did he have to pay for it
Kovalev vs. Ward - both of them. It was a double whammy of corruption. Robbery in the first and punches to the nuts in the second. In reality, Ward should have been penalised at this moment but it was so dodgy that the referee didn't even give Kovalev a count and just waved it off.
First, I admit that I was pro-Kovalev and that I had not digested the decision of the first fight. For me Kovalev has the victory stolen with the 10th round. Then I see Ward giving Kovalev low blows in the 8th and especially at the end. that would have deserved a penalty point. On top of that, Tony Weeks ends the fight extremely early. For example Wilder took at least twice as harsh punishment against Ortiz in the first fight.
Fair enough, I get your point. I thought the first fight was undeniably win by Kovalev. The rounds he won were clear +the KD. Sad thing is, I don't think losing this one would have hurt Ward's legacy as he did show great heart and composure in winning most rounds in the second half of the fight. That would also have diminished the controversy in the 2nd fight s outcome. I thought Ward was the better fighter in the rematch and didn't see any low blow during the stoppage (though very borderline). Then again, Ward is without a doubt a dirty fighter even though I like him (God that Kessler fight was dirty) so I wouldn't argue if someone said there were low blows. All in all I would much rather rewatch that fight than any shot fighter's fight (rjj, tyson, Ali to name a few)
No it wasn't. I totally get those who were Kovalev fans thinking he was robbed in the first one. First, Kovalev started on fire and then he knocked Ward down. The rounds Kovalev won were much more dominant than the rounds that Ward won. However there is an argument that Ward squeaked out 7 close rounds and edged it. Ward certainly made a dramatic comeback and fought valiantly down the stretch. But I do understand that Kovalev fans would feel hard done by that decision. Then the rematch and being upset by the low blows, but it's been blown out of proportion. Many are just using Ward's history of fouling or dirty fighting in the past rather than there really being any real bad fouling there. Ward hurt Kovalev with legal punches, there were some borderline belt-line shots, but nothing clearly below the belt, until the last punch before the stoppage, but at that point Kovalev was already hunched over and asking to be stopped. When a fighter is hunched over like that, a "low blow" at that angle is not the same thing as a fighter standing upright that you can see where the body is and where the belt-line is. And I disagree with anyone complaining about the stoppage. Kovalev to be hunched over like that is asking to be stopped. Nothing like that body position happened in Wilder Ortiz. The amount of damage is arguable but Kovalev's hunched over body language screamed "I'm done, stop the fight".
Lol How much is Floyd paying you for being on his leash? You think I care? I'm laughing at how pathetic you are ... Pac ducked Floyd, you think I honestly give two shits about Pacquiao??
