    12 rounds.

Will the Nigerian Nightmare prove to be too much of a nuisance with his numbing power and non stop aggression?

Or Will Patterson's sizzling hand speed and superior ring IQ slow him down...?

Floyd did have very underrated hand speed and smarts in the ring, besides his kayo losses to Ingo and Sonny Liston, he could take a punch. He beat punchers like Oscar Bonavena, George Chuvalo, and the rematch with Ingo. Maybe he was under 200lbs but it did not hamper his speed. Sometimes fighter are comfortable at their own weight, do not need to go higher which could affect their attributes.

Yeah I think Liston not only hits harder than Peter, his jab was 10x better and he was a better finisher (Peter was pretty sloppy) and had an uppercut to deal with pressure fighters.

Against Ingo Pattern had to be dropped multiple times (including one to the back of the head) and decisively beat him the next two matches going 2-1. Good point about Bonavena and Chuvalo (Peter has even worse overall skill than those 2), he isn't going to just crumble as soon as he fights a guy who hits hard.

I think this would be a good fight.

Patterson wins a pretty clear decision. Way too fast and good. Peter was very strong and had a lot of force behind his punches but other than that wasn't anything special. Floyd would be rattling off quick combinations and would be able to deal with whatever slow, sloppy punches came at him in return. Only reason it goes the distance is because Peter had a solid chin.
