Because Joshua bombed in America and has no fan base there, the fight is going to end up in a hell hole built over an oil well and the British fans are going to be asked to make up the rest. £25 is now to see fringe world class types like Dillian Whyte apparently. What next, a tenner to see British title fights? No surprise to see shameless little Sky Sports cheerleaders like Spencer Oliver trying to condone it though....
The River Inn will be open every fight night - makes no difference to the masses whether they charge 40p or £99.99
As with every PPV, I'll be streaming it. It all fell apart when people started to buy the PPVs which should never have been PPVs. Joshua did massive numbers against Whyte, Martin, Klitschko, Parker etc, and fair enough, but how did Usyk Bellew do 600k buys. Now Whyte is an established PPV guy. Good thing is that the PPV numbers are falling. Outside of Joshua, none of Hearn's last 5 PPVs have done more than 300k.
Is this really going to be £40? I can it being priced between £29.95 - £40. If so Impacted is right, the defence will be it's a one off time, with all the other garbage PPV fights being bumped up to £25 a pop after.
wouldn’t surprise me if it’s £50+ Massive, massive fight. One for the ages. 0 crowd, 0 revenue from tickets. Probably in excess of £50million loss. Shared PPV rights. They will milk every last penny out of this one.

40 notes wouldn't surprise me in the least. And I'm also sure the undercard will be v poor (and of course include the ubiquitous Katie Taylor)
If ten people on here say a fight “isn’t PPV” then four hundred thousand people pay to view it, is it a pay per view?
I can’t see them going over £30 - Eddie already threw that number out there in an interview a few weeks ago. If they try to push people to far with the cost, they will drive more people to rivers and maybe even IPTV to watch the fight. Maybe super casuals will just give the fight a complete miss instead if they try to fleece people.
I heard that Katie Taylor will be fighting Natasha Jonas in April / May and this will be a PPV. Again not 100% sure on this but I remember Hearn hinting this in an IFL interview.
can see it being around the 35 - 40 mark tbh, hearn will give it all the bollocks as per usual about no crowds , once in lifetime blah blah blah and becaused we all want to see it so bad we will pay it most probably however........ what greedy bollocks hearn, fury, joshua need to understand is there is a pandemic on people haven't got loads of spare cash, people cant all get together to watch it and share the cost but the main point is however big the fight is and however much people want to see it... fury and joshua don't need to earn 100 million each for this to take place , its a disgrace . So as much as hearn talks **** about figures the facts are we can all watch it for a fair price if the fighters / promoters don't demand such a high percentage.
But this is a once in a lifetime fight Dragon and what with the lack of crowds it'll be impossible to cover the costs at only £30. We've been treated to some cracking fights on Sky Sports Box Office recently and if we the plebs, sorry fans want to be gifted with more of Uncle Eddie's extravaganzas we'll have to prove that we're true fans by supporting the sport and paying whatever the used car salesman says we should.
I'm predicting it will be £35.99. They can't and won't go for a huge hike like £50, for these things to have maximum effect they have to be done in stages, gradual spoon feeding rather than just one big sudden increase regardless of what the fight is.
