How do you think Floyd would fare against:
    • Cory Spinks
    • Paul Williams
    • Antonio Margarito
    • Joshua Clottey
    • Amir Khan
    • Devon Alexander
    • Timothy Bradley
    • Chris Algeri

    Wins every single one.

Spinks would be the most competitive but will fade late....FMJ UD

On paper Williams would be the toughest but in reality he had zero ring IQ, no adaptability and never fought tall or long say hello to my little friend Quitana......FMJ UD

Margarito is a come forward slow punch bag........FMJ will never let him set , easy loop sided UD

Clottey, another one dimensional silent agreement punch bag, another stinker UD for FMJ

Glass cannon Khan.........will be ko'ed between 8-10, guaranteed.

Alexander, lol, a never was , another non competitive affair for FMJ

Bradley......FMJ is a stylistic nightmare for him, shut out similar to Marquez.

Algeri...........a joke, no money no fame no skill......why even fight him.

    Mayweather beats all of them.

Margarito in his day gives him the most problems and that is a fight that should've happened.... back when he was relentless, huge for the weight and would be flying at Floyd with those juicy loaded gloves.

I don't see a reason to pick any over him. He didn't lose in real life - while fighting better, for the most part - so it feels weird saying he'd lose to the ones he didn't fight because it's convenient.

Williams and Margarito are tough styles, due to size and workrate but they were both out-boxed by such lesser fighters that I really find it hard to see them beating Mayweather. He'd land his cross with ease on both, and his jab to the body would still be a difficult obstacle for them. Not to mention that these would've had to have happened before Mayweather retired in 07, so he'd have still had great legs.

Bradley, Alexander and Cory are gonna be hopeless vs Floyd. How do they out-box a quicker, better, more intelligent boxer who in two outta three cases is taller and has a reach advantage over all of them?

Clottey's mindset of waiting to block a punch before stepping into throw one back is one of the worst strategic tendancies I've ever seen from a fighter. Vs someone with the speed advantage Mayweather would have over him, he'd just constantly be stepping in with his hands up and rarely throwing.

Khan's complete lack of defence while moving in is what gets him KTFO'd. He just gets timed too much.

He's a favourite over all of them, of course. As was Ali against Norton, Tyson against Douglas and Holy, Louis against Schmeling, Hagler against Leonard, SRR against Turpin etc, etc.

If they hadn't faced those guys, no one would thinking they'd lose to them, but they did. That goes to show the value in taking on all comers.

I wouldn’t favor any over him. I think Paul and Margarito are the toughest matchups.

Back in 07’, I thought Williams was a nightmare for Floyd and would win a hypothetical matchup. 6’2 or whatever with a reach of 79” (they were listing it at 82” back then), with a crazy workrate. But his defense was so bad that I would favor Floyd. His defense was extra bad against lefties and Floyd is orthodox, but I’m sure Floyd would found the gaps and exploited them to win a decision.

Margarito would present problems but I think Floyd would use enough movement, accurate shots and spoiling tactics to win a decision.

Fights with Spinks, Alexander and Algieri may well have been 3 of the worst fights in boxing history. Buying those on ppv would be the type of thing that would make you lose respect for your decision making skills and question your self worth in general.

Floyd likely decisions all of them. He's faster than all of them, better defense than all of them. Some could present interesting challenges - southpaw, speed, punch volume, relentlessness/strength, but ultimately I don't foresee any of them beating him. The one I most wanted to see him fight was Paul Williams. I think that would have been very interesting and entertaining. He presented several challenges - height, reach, southpaw, decent enough power to get respect, and superior punch volume.

Man I don't know about Williams- he was 6'2 and had a huge reach and he never stopped throwing.
Spinks would hsve been fun- 2 pure boxers with speed. And Spinks would stick to his game plan.
    Interesting fight.

Floyd stacking the deck in his favor (his career) was bizarre considering I never thought he needed to. He could definitely beat all of them and still not get an ounce of credit.
