Clarissa is determined to make history, so we are better off adjusting to this...I agree wit the vote results... Loma is a favorite over Claressa

Will try to find a top 5'05" top 100 boxer, so we get a 50/50 vote...meaning the fans feel it will be a close fight

Will make another thread we I find a proper candidate

have you ever been inside a gym or sparred a woman?

I’ve seen nationally ranked amateur female boxers spar guys near their weight class, the guys always have to go super easy on them.

Again, refer to Lucia Rikjer fight and Serena Williams for male vs female.

here is another joke, too female boxer Regina vs Stefan. Sure Stefan was bigger but he’s a noob, you put him up against Donaire or Inoue and he would get ktfo cold inside 1 round. Guaranteed.

    Regina couldn’t even hurt him.

    Buddy...is this a joke?

I weigh ~170lbs, had a decent but not huge amount of amateur fights, haven't actively competed in several years but still regularly train and spar guys who do. Any time I've sparred with a woman (even ones who actively compete), it's like toying with a child. The difference in physicality and skill is so wide that it's pointless. I'm not saying that I would beat Claressa Shields (she'd probably outbox me but not be able to hurt me), but someone probably wouldn't have to be THAT much better than me to beat her. So when you're talking about active, ranked pro fighters 1-2 weight divisions below her....give me a break.

You know what , I'm not mad at this fight.
If you asked me in 2017 I would pick Loma by UD...
    Now, I'm not so sure.

Loma has shown a level of timidity in has last couple of fights that have forced me to reevaluate...

If they fought now I would pick Clarissa Shields by brutal 8th round KO...
Like an Anne Wolfe type KO

8 posters voted for Shields. Trust me I will leave no stone unturned trying to find out who those 8 posters were and best believe when I find out, and I will, it's going to be pump city, so I'd would seriously consider hitting that change your vote option ASAP if I were one of you

That’s cause you have no concept whatsoever on the difference between men and women’s physical capability.

Men p4p has more fast twitch muscles meaning they hit faster, they have much higher muscle to fat ratio so even if they’re the same weight, or the woman is 20lbs heavier, the man is still stronger. Men have thicker bone density, thicker skulls.

So men can dish out more damage, take more damage and absorb more damage.

A woman would have to be loaded up on serious amount of testosterone, basically a trans female>male for years to have any chance against a man.

Ironically true...the gender spectrum doesn't have a specific boundary. Few PEDs can push a person in either direction

The weakness in female boxing is mainly to gender-segregation, once the barrier is broken, the female beneficiaries of segregation will be eliminated & a new class of hardened females will come into boxing. It will be harder, but talented females who come in expecting to face anybody will be able to beat males on a regular basis.

that makes no sense. If segregation was the problem, then males would have issues with beating female boxers too as your logic applies both ways.

Obviously the segregation exists for a reason, women are far weaker than men in every way possible.

It’s not a few PEDs, it’s a ton of PEDs and it would require a woman who’s been taking it even before puberty and have essentially fully transitioned into a man, ironically, to beat a man.
