Superfight II was so strange that some people walked away thinking Frazier had won (Frazier on "Q"-Street early, but always coming forward with some punching involved,....versus Ali punching, then grabbing, holding, or pushing Frazier's head down). Needed to go ahead and fast forward to Ali-Frazier III. But Ali escaped "unmangled" and went on to meet Foreman in his next fight 9 months later.
If a slightly more motivated Frazier had showed up and Ali wasn't allowed to hold as much (If only option two) than Ali might of been ripe for the picking against Foreman considering the abuse he might have taken.
Shockingly i don't think anyone has mentioned Duran - Leonard II Given the terrific expectation after their first war people were expecting to see something really special again. They didn't, to say the least.
norris-vaden unification bout the winner most prolly being the man in the division. great back and fourth babble from both camps. an amazing rap made by paul vaden that totally "owned" norris. and norris's big men dont cry joke made paul look like a fool. then in the ring both of them circled each other...like two tigers for the first round. then the snd roudn had the same thing....then you noticed paul just wasnt there. terry tore him up as much as he could agasint the 6'2 slickster. VERY DISAPOINTED

There have been many throughout the years, but the one that bothered and pissed me off the most was Tyson-Holyfield II, the infamous "Bite Night". For one, I paid for the ****ing fight and obviously was not even close to getting my money's worth. Secondly, when superfights like this have these type of disappointing outcomes, it does so much to tarnish and hurt the reputation of boxing. And thirdly, I thought that the fight had the potential to get better and really become a night to remember for the right reasons. Tyson was winning the round, and maybe, just maybe he could of made it interesting or pulled it off. My gut feeling says Holyfield would have still wound up winning, but it would have been nice to see the fight play out.
typical, it didn't sell well in the us so it was a flop . it was a **** hot fight that broke records, some flop.
DLH - Mayweather had a huge build up but the fight itself was a big letdown. hopkins - joe for the same reason. bruno - tyson 2 ,first PPV in uk and frank didnt turn up.maybe not a superfight but it was tysons big title fight after jail.
