For the record, I legitimately earned that one (unlike my previous ones, imo). Hope you're doing well, Mcvey.
Rocky Marciano was one of the examples on how a champion should carry himself, he was humble but yet strong. He was not a law breaker, a good example to many, especially the youth. A good family man, treated others with respect, especially his opponents in the ring. He cherished his title, prepared seriously for his challengers, and was very determined and aggressive in the ring. He did fight through adversity, a classic example on what a champion represents. He retired in 1956, 49-0, 43 KO's, not many can boast of such an achievement. A lot of good names on his record, Jersey Joe Walcott, Ezzard Charles, Roland La Starza, Joe Louis, Don C. and Archie Moore. And by the way, Rocky fought what was put in front of him in his era, that was way before self promotion, and the Jolly Green Giants of Today Fighters.
While you were gone Rocky and Galento increased their positions in the all time rankings, while the Klitschkos and Lewis dropped significantly. You have work to do my friend.
[Insert "Hitler Reacts" "Downfall" meme with caption "Well at least Carnera and Corbett are still down where they belong."]
He was innocently making us a fresh pot of Earl Grey Tea, when McGrain walked by and kicked him. It all happened so fast.
Marciano can knock out BEARS. If a bear could not beat Marciano, who could? (1) Rocky Marciano vs. Hamm's Bear - YouTube
