The infighting* he pulled against Tszyu would have been very effective indeed.

Jaime Garza. I thought he'd be the next Zarate.

Mugabi, but pretty much everyone overhyped him.

I thought the same thing brother.

Before his first title fight against Philip Holiday I kept telling everyone Mosley would be the first man to KO DeLaHoya. He did get the win, though. But after his loss to Forrest he got a bit gun shy and looked content in their rematch.

:borra2:Hilarious...I actually won $1000 on that fight! And I still love Pavlik though. Wish he would've fought Paul Williams instead of Sergio Martinez.

Mike Jones and Vivian Harris were a couple recent guys for me.

Speaking of Harris, friggin Carlos Maussa took him to the woodshed.

Honestly when I look back Jones had good physical tools, but he made a lot of mistakes on the way in, reaching, leaving his chin exposed etc. He got exactly what he deserved against Bailey in a fight that he should have and was winning comfortably

Hatton was very effective was he was allowed to be a filthy fighter. It has always rankled me when his supporters complain about Joe Cortez but give Dave Parriss a free pass. Hypocrisy abounds there.

He has already been mentioned here before, but I thought Zab Judah was the next ATG

Agree about Garza. Mugabi may have been overhyped, but I honestly believe Hagler ruined him.

Yeah looking back now, Mercer was the Absolute worst opponent they could’ve picked for Morrison. Who knew at that point Mercer had an absolute cement chin!!

After Damiani absolutely was schooling and landing everything on Mercer (until Mercer shattered his nose with that one winging shot) I can see why management for Morrison thought Ray’s right there for Tommy to Tee off on. It was going to script for the first 3 rounds, Mercer was just still there. Mercer of course started turning it on in the 4th round, and in the 5th it would lead to what is still one of the most brutal barrages I’ve ever seen!!!
