That's not me NoBrain. Now go back top pretending you've stepped foot in the ring. Posters LOVE that crap.

And thanks for chiming in on the topic NoBrain. I guess you just felt the need to connect with me instead??? OK weirdo....

A handful, sure. He was an awesome fighter. Yeah, he was better than Judah. I assume youre referring to Forrest in the amateurs? The pros is different, we both know that. Unless I am just drawing a blank and they fought in the pros. That said, he’d have been competitive in fights with those guys, but I don’t think he’d have beaten the those guys at ww. I’m not knocking him. I’m saying have been competitive but falls short vs the ww elites. Whatever the reason, he didn’t go that route.

You would play with toys, seeing as you post like a 13yo girl. Got anything to say about the actual thread topic, or do you just want to troll?

I think he struggles at the weight, he fought at super lightweight until his retirement at 37yo prob due to the fact he could still make the weight comfortably, which prob means he wasnt a big super lightweight and he knew that.

I think the consensus is correct here, Kosta gets beaten up at 147.

Mayorga is a good shout if Tszyu had moved up after Mayorga won the Forrest rematch that would have been a great fight that I reckon Tszyu would have won.

I liked Tszyu a lot but 140 is a b.s. class. Pretty much all of the super/junior divisions are, minus cruiserweight. They are stop-overs for greats and havens for the very goods. That said, it's all about styles. He would do quite well against Judah (obviously) and Spinks, the lefties. Mosley is likely a little too dynamic, but I think Tszyu is competitive there. Trinidad's size and power are probably too much; DLH is a bit too good for Kostya; I would favor Forrest to outbox him (I don't care what happened in the amateurs); Mayorga might get outboxed; Quartey and Tszyu would be interesting; Margarito wears Tszyu down; and Mayweather wins a points verdict.

IDK I feel like he gets a pass on things that someone like Adonis Stevenson didn’t get. Adonis Stevenson got a big contract from Showtime when all of the threats to defeat him were on HBO and I believed he was ducking. Why was there not even an attempt to go to 147 and challenge Oscar, Tito, Mosley, Forest, Mayweather. Even a guy like Margarito or Mayorga.

140 is one of the deepest divisions in boxing history - without question the deepest of the ******* divisions - whereas crusierweight is more or less, inarguably the worst. Why is 140 a BS class, and Crusierweight isn't? Given that one has existed for over 90 years, and the other has barely reached 35.

Come on bro, keep it real. The A-side decides who & when they fight. Oscar & Sugar Shane were A-sides when Tszyu was desperate for a dollar & the fights didn't happen. Tszyu did the best he could @ 140 after they moved on & managed to land a contract that was intended for Zab Judah that has kept he & two families well off ever since. I'd love to have seen Tszyu jump to welter when Forrest beat Mosley, or when Mayorga beat Forrest, or when Spinks beat Mayorga or when Zab beat Spinks but Don King wasn't going to let a fox into his welterweight hen-house.

As for Mayweather, please. Showtime wouldn't bankroll a fight with #1 contender Gianluca Branco (who no-one knew) so the WBC stripped Tszyu for refusing to defend. #2 contender Gatti won the vacant belt against Branco bankrolled by HBO & Mayweather challenged him. When the sanctioning bodies and a hostile television network gang up on you, you're doing well to turn a dollar any way you can. Let alone US$3m a pop for every fight you have. US$3m was 6 million Australian dollars at the time.

I can respect that I kinda feel like Bud Crawford was put in a similar situation when renewed with TR for a $3.5 minimum per fight to get the title shot against Jeff Horn. I mean PBC wasn’t offering him that at the time but they had all the WWs so he was in a weird situation. Any fighter who is not a big star is gonna take that guaranteed money.
