I have all of Tyson's fights on dvd. And the grab tactic by taller fighters ALWAYS bothered Tyson. This is evidenced by numerous fights. And Wlad has become damn good and holding and hugging and pushing off in later rounds to setup punches.

Vitali definitely beats Tyson. That is a horrible ****ing matchup for Tyson. Vitali is all wrong for him.

I love Tyson, but I don't ride his ****. He fought in the worst era in heavyweight history. Peter would give Tyson problems. He fought no one even close to Samuel Peter.

It is easy for someone to look invincible when there is no threat. Any good heavyweight of the past 30 years would have steamrolled the 80's crop that Holmes and Tyson did. Taking out Spinks, Tyson and Holmes never lost to any of those scrubs.

Pressure is the key to beating Wlad, Tyson was in your face early and effectively, something Wlad has proved he cant handle for life of him.

Peter did give Wlad trouble, he bounced him off the canvas 3 times and made him clinch 97 times during that fight, as well make him panic 2 or 3 times in that match, and only lose by 3 points on all three of the judges scorecards, that's not 95% of domination LennoxGoat, try and be realistic.

A prime Tyson had an iron chin, he took everything, including "The Smash" from Ruddick, who at the time was recognized as most powerful puncher at Heavyweight at the time. He also took alot of good solid blows from Bruno, and didnt go down or anything. Douglas had to beat him down for 10 plus rounds to finish him, and it took a uppercut from hell to do him in, Wlad doesnt even know how to throw one.

You named fighters that Tyson did have trouble finishing them, but it wasnt like they were trying to actually beat Tyson either, more less survivie against him, the same thing Iggy did against Wlad.

Peter would be the best win of Tyson's resume in the 80's.

Larry Holmes is a better win, Holmes was actually competitive with Holyfield a couple years later and beat Mercer. I'm a huge Peter fan, but even an older Holmes is be a better win than Peter.

Totally disagree by looking at the exact circumstances. Holmes was completely retired and removed from the game after being "beat" by a light heavyweight twice. He had no interest in fighting.

He simply took the fight because King needed his name on Tyson's resume and Holmes wanted the money. Holmes effectively priced himself out from returning until King actually ponied up.

That was a sham of a fight and Holmes still had his effective moments.
