I agree with this, would be more inclined to pay £15 for a Dennis Hobson card or something with a couple area titles and 2 English. Than chipping in to give Dillian or Del Boy well over 7 figures
What? The knock on affect? Give it a rest,it's extremely simple - if you don't like a fight don't buy it,if you do then buy it Do agree with you about small hall shows though,I prefer fighters who are still game and hungry Enjoy your day pal,and remember, don't let anyone talk you into buying things your not into
How does the attitude of "people like me" create a knock on affect? Surely if people en masse were only buying PPV worthy Ppv"s, then eventually The rubbish would get weeded out... but we know that it's not a perfect world any way so that's highly unlikely to ever be the case as promoters will do them regardless, they're not bothered about the forum chatter, they're bothered about the bank No one should "be expected to pay any more",which again brings us to the point that if it's not for you then don't buy it,you can support the sport in other ways You wouldn't buy trainers 2sizes too small because you liked the look of them so much would you?
The 'dont like dont pay, nobody is making you watch' brigade. It matters because fans want to watch boxing without having to always stump up extra money for it. Now people seem to pay for anything that has Eddie Hearns name attached to it and fair play to him, but for me it just means normal cards we all used to enjoy are now behind a further paywall. But i guess boxing on TV isnt really aimed at genuine fans anymore. But this argument has been done to death, there is no way we will agree! haha
No I do get what you mean about "don't like don't don't pay" coming across as a bit ars*y,I just meant it more in an unfortunate reality kind of way It does harm boxing, and yes the regular cards are knocked out as ppv a lot of the time, which we all know is bulls**t, but very unlikely to change It has been round and round the houses many a time this ol debate haha
The 'if you don't like it don't buy it' comment makes me laugh. I don't necessarily like spending hundreds on my shopping bill every month but it doesn't mean I'll go hungry. People want to watch boxing and get value for money, not be fleeced at every opportunity.
Maybe Fury V Joshua will be the main event, perhaps Eddie has that up his sleeve and is just teasing us.
Could get Eubank and Hrgovic on this. Kalle mentioned on Spencer Oliver’s pod he expects them to be out end of April on a British card.
Would think Usyk maybe involved? Surely Eddie will have to keep him busy after persuading him to step aside for the AJ fury fight. Usyk v Joyce Parker v chisora
I honestly don’t think the fake tits Aussie will be allowed to box by the board, it’s one of their criteria for issuing a licence. No fake titties
