Yeah, it seemed to be a given or accepted to swerve southpaws more years ago I find. I can’t think of a smoother fighter off the top of my head an huge at the weight
If Canelo beat him twice with his superior skills what do you think Michael Nunn with his speed of hand and foot exceptional skills would do to Lil G? Nothing bold about it at all. GGG is overrated by some of you guys.
I gave him both fights on my score card. In the first fight he took Lil G to sleek school and in the 2nd he gave him the requested Mexican style fight.
You objectively have minimal understanding of how to score a fight and zero awareness of context..you silly naive Canelo dick rider
Ah . so its in YOUR world he won twice ...Hmm Ok Ok ...thats cool , just stay away from the windows son...
While I agree that Nunn was something special, I think we saw his limits against Toney. He wilted late in the fight and Toney is neither as relentless nor as hard hitting as Golovkin. I think you'll see Nunn start well enough but fade away against Golovkin's sustained and educated pressure as the rounds tick by. GGG's body punching against that stringbean frame is going to be murderous by the time the late rounds roll in.
You can add Roy Jones Jr to that list too. 1998 Nunn is RJJ's mandatory. RJJ vacates WBC title says he's going to fight Buster Douglas at heavyweight. WBC order Nunn vs Rochigianni for Roy's belt. RJJ then suddenly says he isn't fighting Douglas after his father, a man he's been estranged from for years, says not to fight him. Nunn loses, Roy gets gifted his title back, WBC gets sued and declares bankruptcy.
