In the Drawn fight with Wilder, as we know, Fury had to literally come back from the dead in the last round!
So let's substitute Mike Tyson of the Biggs fight in there.. What's the result? Would Fury end up on the canvas again and if so, can he survive?

No unpopular opinion but Fury beats his namesake.

Don't think it's a massive unpopular dec to be honest, least not in my eyes. Mike's a much more better fighter than Wilder, no question s asked. But even then, Fury has advantages in there, plus heart. It's not impossible to see him at least see the end bell perhaps?

I honestly don't know. Leaning towards no. Though I also think Mike would've finished Fury earlier in the bout so it's a moot point.

Yeah, Mike probably finishes Fury in that twelfth round. I think if it's Fury from the Wlad fight, Mike either scores a KO from a combination at some point, or he makes Fury passive and the fight becomes a pseudo-Bonecrusher/Tucker hybrid, where Fury uses his height and holds a lot, but is clearly out-pointed.

    Tyson would have finished it.
    Edit: Mike that is!

Fury beats him, but if Fury got up in the last round against Wilder after the knockdown and Wilder was substituted with prime Tyson then Fury may have been stopped

If Mike Tyson had somebody in trouble like that, then I can't see him letting them off the hook.

To be fair, he did let Douglas off the hook.

If Tyson hurts him he will finish him. In this fight against THAT Tyson, Fury will have to pick his poison. Either keep his distance or try to lean and smother Tyson to tire him out before taking him out late, Tyson will use that body as prime real estate heating those ribs like a drum, also keep in mind Fury would have to punch down at a fighter much shorter with incredible speed and head movement. Would be a great fight either way, Fury by decision or Tyson in 8.

Mike Tyson has fought taller opponents before. He fought Tony TNT Tucker on Aug 1 1987, it went the distance, Mike won a unanimous decision. Tyson was a better finisher than Deontay Wilder. Tyson by KO 12. Mike was a very active fighter in his peak years unlike Tyson Fury.

I think Wilder being sort of a tall rangy fighter like fury is what enabled him to land those shots which decked him. I don’t know if Mike Tyson would beat Tyson Fury

I don't think that Douglas was in nearly as much trouble, and the bell gave him a reprieve.
