Who would win if prime Barry McGuigan fought all of N.Hamed`s opponents?

He was offered the fight several times when McGuigan held the WBA featherweight belt and Nelson held the prestigious WBC Featherweight belt. Please see the video I posted after Nelson came to the UK to put out the lights of the magnificent Pat Cowdell in Birmingham. Barney Eastwood McGuigan’s manager was warned by Mickey Duff who had the inside track that it would be career suicide for them to throw Barry in with Azumah. I believe there is a video of Barney Eastwood who came to watch the Cowdell fight afterwards saying Barry did not need Azumah Nelson.

 

What a magnificent and dignified man Azumah Nelson.

The key thing for me in this debate is that Prince Naseem faced Barrera and McGuigan ducked Nelson.

okey doke, so you clearly dont want to answer a hypothetical question. Thats fair enough. Lets go with a 'facts' question. When mcguigan won the eliminator against charm chitule for the right to fight the commonwealth champion, azumah nelson, why did nelson not fight him then when he had the chance to? i mean, if he wanted him THAAAAAAT much, then why not do so? Also, McGuigan was offered the Gomez fight at super-feather but they chose to go another route, does that mean he ducked wilfredo gomez too?

 

The Gomez fight was at featherweight. Uncle Azumah won the WBC Featherweight title against the great Gomez in San Juan Puerto Rico. He knocked the great Gomez out. Get your facts right. Azumah was always ready to fight McGuigan Baroness Barry never wanted it. McGuigan fought the older then more vulnerable Pedroza who had seen better days.

McGuigan was offered the Gomez fight at superfeather and it was declined for whatever reason. Alfredo Layne then beat Gomez around the same time as mc guigan got beat by cruz. You are stupid I am telling you that Nelson prior to all of that beat the great Gomez to win the WBC Featherweight belt in his hometown of San Juan , Puerto Rico specifically in 1984. It was probably declined because he knew he would lose to Gomez. Don’t text boxing knowledge with me son as you are out of your league. Don’t talk about McGuigan fighting Gomez because he did not. Nelson did as he had the cojones.
