Golota was also a notable street fighter ... He doesn't beat Tyson but he was known for it in Poland

The one documented street fight of Tysons he broke his hand after one punch. What’s to say he doesn’t do the same thing punching Sonny Liston or George Foreman on the elbow or something? He’d be in a world of hurt then.

It is like I have said, a street fight is totally different, there is no referee to give instructions, just you and the other guy. A guy can be fast in the ring, but one swift kick between the legs can end it.

A boxer knowingly fighting another boxer would probably just be a bareknuckle boxing match, wild tactics require an entry into unfamiliar territory tactically for boxers which could lead to a violent life altering KO... but in any case if it became what I have witnessed often enough just a wild brutal skirmish in a true fight for survival ordeal Nikolia Valuev would most likely dominate Tyson in a street fight. (easily in a confined space)

I don't know, but they definitely gotta be on PCP like Mitch Green was to win.

Foreman was one of the worst predators Houstons Fifth Ward ever saw. The Raiders great defensive back said Foreman handed out ferocious ass kickings if you looked at him wrong.

Liston at Jefferson got on the bad side of all 3 gangs in the prison. He met the three leaders in a room to settle the issue and only Liston walked out. The other 3 were laid out. Liston was the real deal. You can read about this in the book "Dear Muffo".
You Tysonaniacs are so stiff for Mike it is sickening. These guys aren't little old ladies the ***** can mug in an elevator.

In the street or the jungle, Dempsey KILLS Tyson. Like Jack said, "fighting with gloves & rules and 3 minute rds isn't fighting." He learned his trade in life or death jungle camp brawls and riding the rods. Btw Tysonheads, Mike believes this too.

All I know is Hasim Rahman could outwrestle Lennox Lewis in the ESPN studio.

Lewis smacked Tyson one for getting in his face at the press conference before their clash. Lenny drew first blood that night before completing the job with interest when the real fight started.

    Lennox Lewis 2

    Mike Tyson 0

Where is the evidence that Tyson believes this?
You can see a clip where a reporter looks at Dempsey footage & says he looks like a Middleweight.
Tyson was respectful & admiring, a boxing historian.

But this does not mean he believed that Dempsey could beat him in any context.
Dempsey if he fought since the '80's, in the era of day before weigh ins, would be be no more than a LHW.
And you would very likely not favor anyone in that division, ever, over prime Tyson.
Tyson would have the advantage in skills, & be at least as fast.

Like it was said on another thread, Tyson (& possibly Frazier), were the types that are unlikely to lose to anyone they outweighed by that much.
Take a top swarmer (or maybe a slugger too, *unless* possibly against a boxer style) type fighter against a smaller man-he is very unlikely to lose.
In part because his biggest threat, the sluggers, will not be able to generate quite the necessary force, & tend to have less punch resistence, than if they are the same size.

You do realize size doesn't mean **** in a street fight, if you have weapons at your disposal? Dempsey was homeless, and fought literally to survive. Think he'd have a trick or two up his sleeve.

Vitali being a high-level kickboxer and tough as **** has an outside chance. Liston, Foreman, etc are all good shouts. I like Ron Lyle to have a good chance as well.

Reality is though, in a street fight, anything can happena be anything goes. Whoever gets off first when two guys who can completely spark eachother out is normally gonna win. Under the proviso that he lands full power first, somebody like Deontay Wilder or Corrie Sanders can be the best. There's no way of actually predicting who'd win between someone like Mike and Foreman IMO.
