Yes but its the same exact principle in the reverse. Luis Ortiz (doesn't have a better resume than Whyte) was Wilders hardest fight besides Fury and he landed constantly.

Eric Molina Rocked Wilder with a left hook. Now Imagine if that was Whytes left hook. Wilder would probably have to pick himself up off the canvas like Parker did if he isn't already knocked out cold like Chisora was. At the very least he'd be doing the bambi dance and when that happens who's to say Whyte doesn't rush him and take him out ?

And Povetkin would probably get on the inside and clap Wilder out of existence. He's just too skilled even as an old man

Ortiz is a far better boxer than anybody Whyte has beat.

True but he's a southpaw thats far more susceptible to the right hand. His best win is Bryant Jennings while Whytes is Chisora or Parker ? Maybe Rivas ?

I still think Whyte has the better resume but lets just say he doesn't and Ortiz is Better. Look at how much trouble Artur Szpilka and Molina gave Wilder. I honestly feel like if Whyte and Wilder fought people would about how well Whyte does. He may get knocked out but who knows

Disagree. Ortiz best win is the same as Rivas. Parker resume is superior to Ortiz and you could even argue Chisora has better resume than Ortiz.

Debatable. Is he really 'far better' than Parker, for example?

Who has Ortiz actually beaten to earn this 'bogeyman' reputation?

It depends what povetkin has left after his recovery from covid and of course his age.
Povetkin does everything better than whyte. Whyte just wanted to have his name because he is past it and hoped povetkin would just fall. If whyte boxers clever he should win, but I am hoping for a highlight ko by povetkin again so we don't have to hear whyte stupid mouth anymore

    No chance

Whytes chin was cracked by AJ and will never be good again

Because he has tested himself against WC opposition ( which is something Ortiz has failed to do) against Klitschko, Usyk, Whyte, Pulev and Haye.

Chisora notable wins against Takam, Spzilka and Price (he should won against Helenius too) are comparable to Ortiz's of Jennings and Hammer.

I believe Povetkin will come at him like a raging bull from the moment the bell rings. He was old and shot already during the first time, now he's even older and had covid. He certainly has the power to KTFO him with either hand: uppercut, overhand right, left hook... He has no time to sit around, he's gonna gas sooner or later. The first few round are going to be insane, mark my words.

You aren't setting the bar very high there. Whyte is a British level Glass Jawed fighter. I think a Wilder vs Whyte fight would be very interesting.

Whyte absolutely is a Glass Jawed fighter. A very average one at that.

Never have understood the obsession on here with Chisora and Whyte. They are both British level fighters. Nothing more.

What does that make Wilder and Ortiz then considering Whyte has superior reume to Wilder and Chisora resume is just as good if not better than Ortiz.
