Don't know what have you been watching but I don't recall any of those guys eating 6 clean power shots in a roll, which eventually lead to Warrington KO. You are also confusing guys granite chins to china chin. There is also a middle ground. The majority of boxers fall in the middle. Warrington is not granite but neither is he china.

Yup. Questions have been answered. This mandible is no longer questionable. It's proven glass. Only deluded fanboys can't accept it.

I always consider Warrington to be a fighter with decent skill and decent power, but yesterday he was way underperformed. No trick, he fought with no passion, no ideas. Fighting a hard-punching opposition like that is dangerous.

We've gone through the usual circular excuses/denial/reasoning/rationalization from the Warrington fan boys on here. First he was matched incorrectly, then he had no defense, then he took too many consecutive punches, then "that punch would have KOed anyone" ignoring the most obvious and glaring flaw of all. Warrington is a Glass Jawed fighter.

Josh having a good chin is what turned it into a beating.

I don't like Warrington but he objectively has at least a decent chin considering who he's faced and beaten while eating their best shots.

Not too many guys can eat clean punch after clean punch.

Yes, there are those guys but they really are the exception.

One thing almost every great fighter has though is a good defense. Make that a great defense. Even when they get hit, they are moving away from the punch or deflecting it in some way.

The ability to see punches coming and make adjustments is something they all do.

OP must be click bait. Chinny guys just go when they're tagged. Warrington took a sustained hiding which put him in the hospital.

Yeah, but his defence doesn't help him, if it was better his chin would be less important.

No problem at all with his chin

If anything he showed some serious balls and grit for digging in and still carrying on for another 5 rounds after that horrendous 4th round

Can’t stand Warrington for his Leeds affiliation and the entrance music he uses but it’s just ridiculous to say that he has a glass chin, he took an absolute beating and did everything to stay in there when he could have easily give up. His chin has been rattled by the best in his division and he’s took it, more should be made of the power Lara showed.
He was pretty much out on his feet from the 4th round and he took a relentless beating from then on.
No glass to see here lads only a massive amount of heart.

He actually has a very good chin. Aside from the fact he took a horrible beating and kept trying until the bitter end until he literally couldn't try anymore and had zero quit in him which he deserves credit for not ridicule, he suffered a perforated eardrum and I suspect it might have been this left hook that did the damage.

He even displayed a very good chin in that round after being hurt because he ate a bunch of big flush shots from a someone who Navarrete described as ''heaviest puncher he's sparred'' whilst on very shaky legs indeed before he inevitably went down and he fought on for another five rounds after that round (a round many feel the fight should've been stopped after) and took a lot of heavy punishment before his body could take no more and many observers also feel the beating he took might have been a career ending one, or at least one which might have put an end to his career at top level.
