1924 saw only one World Title defence in all divisions combined?

Reading the January 1925 issue of The Ring and they are talking about the current champions and how they will fare in 1925.

The writer (Francis Albertanti) says that only Joe Lynch's Bantam title was defended and he lost to Abe Goldstein.

So in the whole of 1924, none of the other World Champions defended their titles? Really?

I know that Harry Greb would have fought a lot that year and he faced some greats so would have thought the title would have been defended at some stage.
