I like watching his fights. Should be good to see him get some more fights in the UK now

Reading the article on Metro it was Joe dogs that reached out to Brick Top to see what was going on there. Looks as though he’s targeting the winner of Smith / Vlasov for the WBO. If Warren can get him on any of his upcoming cards blasting out a couple of shepherds then a decent domestic clash vs say Arthur / Yarde / Pitters then a title shot he’ll have done a good job.

Johnson vs Smith Jr would be a brilliant fight

Two dates in March, and at least one in April, must be able to get him on one of them

I would say 99% of your post have been in favor of Gallagher and his fighters could your name be Joe by any chance I do recall some years ago Gallagher used to post under the name of curry ?

For a couple of years now I've wanted Johnson vs Smith Jnr, I think that would be a brilliant fight.

Definitely a good move. His career's stood still for almost two years now. Wasn't happy with the deal from Hearn, that's fair enough. Hopefully this link-up can land him a world title fight in the next 12-16 months, although I'd prefer to see him in with Mikhalkin for the vacant EBU title.

Happy for Johnson that he's finally got a move that will seemingly get his career back on track...... he's a really talented fighter and inactivity has seriously hampered his career.

He's 35 now so the next 18 months are huge for him and I hope he can secure a big fight and decent pay day in that time.

Pleased to see Callum get the chance get his career moving again. He absolutely has to stay fit and active now because, at 35, his time is limited.

Good luck to Callum, being anywhere near Hearn in his position is just a waste of time.

He only needs to look at fighters like Whyte, Hearn has his "stars" and the others in that weight class he (in my opinion) will hold back, use as hurdles for non Matchroom fighters or just use to fill cards.

Buatsi is Hearns boy, AJ's too, so Johnson would have been kept inactive as long as possible and then a Buatsi fight would have been thrown at him at short notice for good money no doubt and he would have virtually zero choice but to accept it at a disadvantage.

Johnson would absolutely smoke Yarde's boots!

What makes you lot think it'd be a "good fight"? It's a whitewash, IMHO.

He was offered a tick over then the buatsi fight but his team felt the buatsi fight was worth a lot more and he should have received a bigger purse than buatsi.
Which was never going to happen due to the points you mentioned
