Most satisfying defeat for a fighter since Kovalev battered Clev

I agree, but it would be close. I’d go for Kelly points.

Do I really have to spell it out to you? Thanks for the "idiot" tag, though.

In professional sports, fans have preferences. When the boxer they like wins, especially under such circumstances, it surely can be described as a beautiful result.

Then there's the fact that Kelly is an arrogant, pompous ***** who thinks he's 100x better than he really is. Furthermore, he's trained by that cvnt Adam Booth, and it's always good to see him on the losing end.

I think they stopped it at the right time. His legs were totally gone, he would have suffered a brutal KO.

Kelly is a seasoned amateur and Olympian, Benn is a white collar guy. The gulf in skill and class is too much to overcome.

I agree about Booth, I think he's been flattered by the talent he's trained. The likes of Haye and Groves would have flourished under countless trainers. Booths arrogance far and away exceeds anything his fighters display.

To be fair I thought Kelly boxed brilliantly the first 4 rounds, but the lack of power is a real bug bear.
Really though when the pressure was on he folded and in comes the towel.
I don’t want to see fighters hurt but where’s the grit, the desire to come through tough periods?
You scratch away the surface and obviously there’s not much underneath.

I still can’t believe he took that left hook in the second standing. If Kelly has more power he would be some fighter but David has some chin on him.

Didn’t see that in the build up. I’m cringing shuddering up and down my spine. Watching them early rounds I was beginning to like Kelly a lot more too so I’ll try and forget you said that about his team member haha.
