Spent the last 10 years pre-Fury watching Wlad hug & push midgets to death & people have the audacity to complain about young Otto taking a decision over a very tough Brezeel. Give him a break.

Neither had full camps either. Brezeale's last outing was in 2019 after Wilder sent him back to Brazil, took him over 12 months to walk back.

AJ beat Wallin in the amateurs. Can his resume have a boost too?

Wallin has good footwork and pretty good speed, plus he's a southpaw, so he'll befuddle a few guys he shouldn't. OTOH, he has no power at all and isn't too hard to hit. But he could be a top 7-12 HW, sure.

So, we've gone from Wilder fan boys over hyping Ortizn't to Fury fan boys over hyping Wallin.

Strange place we all reside in, this boxing forum. Joe Joyce would put an ass whooping on both of them let alone the top 5 guys. When Wallin signs to fight someone like Joyce, Kownacki, Ajegba, Dubois or even a Chisora and gets a win, give me a nudge, I'll wake the eff up and maybe start taking notice.

Ehhh Martin took out Gerald Washinton in 6 rounds and Takkam done pretty good against Aj and Parker and was winning against Chislra until the knockout. He might be better but im not so sure

He has good hand speed. I think he is a bit faster all around than you perceive.

I think Ottomatic is big, tough skilled boxer who in his only step up in class to the top level, actually all the way up to the elite level, acquitted himself very well indeed and he deserves credit for that. Had he actually won the fight which many feel he came close to or should've had it been waved off on a cut, he would have the single best win on his resume out of any current HW sans maybe Fury beating Wlad over in Germany albeit a 38 y/o past prime Wlad.

Going into the Ottomatic fight, Fury was coming off his electrifying performance against hungry young undefeated lion Tommy Schwarzenhoffer and he looked sensational in that one and infinitely better than the drug-ravaged inactive muscle atrophied suicidal shell who The Tuscaloser cherrypicked as his judges robbed blind in their first fight

Make no mistake about it, Ottomatic fought the best post-prime pre-three years spent in the abyss contemplating his own mortality Fury the world has ever seen

Imagine if an American HW prospect had pushed Fury that close in their only step up fight to world level? They'd be fast-tracked up the P4P rankings so fast they wouldn't have had time to take a shower in their changing room

On single punches, he can be somewhat explosive and he can throw them without a big wind-up, I'll give him that.

    I think he's decent.

    Washington is absolutely **** poor.

Takam lost to Joshua and aside from a clash of heads that caused Joshua discomfort, he didn't do much. He pushed Parker close, but Parker is certainly overrated. He got sparked by Chisora who has lost countless times and has never beaten anybody at world level.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wallin against Takam. If Wallin is any good, he'll beat Takam. Takam is an old, short (well over listed) heavyweight who is not much more than a marketing exercise at world level. If he didn't have a Trenbolone physique, he'd be nowhere near world level. He's an easy sell to the casual boxing public who largely don't know very much about boxing.

Washington is a poor heavyweight but nothing suggests Breazeale is better. Washington outjabbed Wilder comfortably and Beat Helenius. Wallin probably is better but the fight against doesn't really prove it. Becasue you know, its breazeale. Parker imo is world class. He does has a win over Ruiz

Many posters comparison logic is "stunning" here.
Not only is Wallin not good, you know/predict he never will be. Is Fury just kinda OK, AJ so-so? Wilder awful?

It's like when a top 10 HW loses to another top HW, many will post "he was always a bum". It's mind boggling o_O

Wallin did ok and has some good skills and accuracy. But Breazeale was in terrible shape and should have been told to wear a bra .

Not really. Just about everyone expected Wallin to win convincingly in a walkover. Brazil sucks.
