Cuts are random. Wallin landed more than anyone because Fury had 1 eye it's not rocket science. Joshua won't have the same success just by "letting his hands go in bunches" especially against a Fury with 2 eyes
Why you bringing up Ruiz as if that has any relevance when talking about an Usyk matchup. I highly doubt Usyk has the chin and punch resistance to take the shots Ruiz took. Usyk also has very little power at the weight so will struggle to keep AJ off him. He’s getting old and has a young mans style, he’ll be 35 by the time he fights AJ probably.
Chisora cut off Usyk`s escape route moving to the right by holding with his left for siz rounds after the ref warned him Usyk dominated the rest of the fight more than AJ dominated Ruiz by landing more shots than AJ could, he`s just a higher level fighter than AJ.
He come out shaking against Ruiz, everyone noticed he was uneasy in the ring walk, that was the after effects of a panic attack in the dressing room, it was his American debut wasn’t it ? The nerves got to him it seems.
Come on, his skills and ring IQ are slightly underrated on balance, but ...thread titles like this will only fuel his haters.
Everyone has a plan in till they get slapped up the side of the head by a chubby Mexican. AJ's claim to fame is surviving against and getting a second wind against Wlad. That's what being a fighter is about. As much as AJ doesn't have it, he still sort of does have it.
You talk rubbish Mark. AJ won arguably every round against Ruiz in the rematch. Chisora took at least 4 rounds off Usyk. He’s gonna get found out in the heavyweight division eventually. Joyce may just be the man to do it first you never know.
I mean Aj dominated the rematch with Ruiz but I see no objective way to score Round 8 for AJ. I still had Aj winning 11 rounds 1 which against Ruiz is Impressive but just a minor nitpick of your post. This content is protected I pick Aj over Usyk too I think Usyk can certainly cause Aj some problems but the Chisora fight and the Witherspoon fight showed me he gets hit too often to be able to outbox the hardest punchers in the division for 12 rounds but Usyk is still one of the most dangerous fighters in the division for the top 3 IMO and he would certainly stand a better chance than most. I have a hard time seeing anyone not in the top 3 beating Usyk tho. I see Usyk vs Povetkin Whyte or Ruiz being almost 50/50 fights tho but id favor Usyk against all 3. Stylistically Povetkin and Whyte would pose more problems than Ruiz, just due to Ruiz's slow feet but who knows about how much Ruiz will change under Reynoso though. So I wouldn't completely count Ruiz out against Usyk though.
Congratulations well done. Excellent analysis. Keep it up. AJ is a lot more nuanced than people realise which is why he has an excellent chances of stopping Tyson Fury.
I stole the title from the vid I linked, I don`t agree with the ingenious bit I just think he`s a good boxer.
