Hagler wasn't a one punch knock out artist at 160, what makes you think his power would carry to 175 in a post 24 hour weigh in era.

To begin, ridiculous question. Too much difference size, and in effect, as several
mention, Hagler was small. Question: do you imagine Hagler surviving a fight
with Dwight Muhammad Qawi? (not to mention a Michael Spinks. Duh)

 

This is such a ridiculous thread. Who in their right mind would believe anything other than Beterbiev beats Hagler into submission to the point his corner throws in the towel. What's the point of this?

 

Would be a great fight as Marvin was a real man. I know he would go to toe to toe, nose to nose, with anyone.

End of the day I would say it goes to the card after 12 wild, brutal rounds and I can’t call it bro.

 

Good thread mate. I picked Beterbiev on pts but it’s gonna be hard for Hagler in the later rounds

 

Beterbiev is too big, strong and relentless for Marvin. He'd wear Marvin down.

I have a lot of respect for Hagler. He was one of my favorite fighters but Beterbiev would be too much for him. Beterbiev is not only bigger and stronger but skilled and relentless in what he does.

 

This. At some point Beterbiev is just going to be like **** it, and completely walk through and bully Hagler into submission. He would likely ruin Hagler. Hes just too damn big.

As for Tyson vs Beterbiev that's true lol. Its laughable. Tyson would send him to the hospital unless he just decides to KO him in round 1.

Tyson from 1984-1988 had been spoon feeded by King and his camp. Best boxer prime Mike had in the ring was out of retirement old out of shape Holmes.
Holmes from 1980 had turned Mike from 1988 into parapelegic.
That's it about it.
Shavers from 70 ies did the same with Mike from 1988 th and after fight with this one Mike from 1988 th had been Dadashev no2. nothing more. If such fights had happened.

 

To be fair vs Mike, Mike from 1987-1988 had beated out all health from Wilder and A.J with glance and smoothly.

 

we've seen countless threads pitting GGG against bigger men and being picked to beat them but people are getting lambasted for saying they could see Marvin outpointing beterbiev over 15. I don't get it

 

Who was 3G picked over? Try adding context, you know, because that matters more than your blanket statement...
