Out of every boxer whoever fought for the heavyweight title, which one had the weakest chin out of all of them? Bruno has been desribed as having a weak chin by some, Hide is another, Morrison etc. I feel Moorer`s chin was very weak too.

Fair point, do you think his chin was worst than Bruno`s?

I don't think Bruno had a remarkably bad chin, more so his defense was bad. I don't think I've seen a more stationary head. He always stood upright with his chin in the air, just asking to get knocked out.

Yeah Bruno had an underrated chin. Nobody just took him out with one punch - not even Tyson or Lewis could do that. Average at best. About Grade C-

Guys like Seldon, Williams, Tate, Cooney, Frazier, Harrison, Patterson etc have all been criticised quite a bit over the years.

Realistically it might be some no-name none of us are thinking about because he was so forgettable.

The most successful, dubious Chinned guy was Patterson unfortunately. But despite having not the strongest of chin s, he was the first two time champ, so he' didn't fare too badly.

Only man that ever knocked Frazier out was Foreman and he still wasn`t out cold, he got stopped in the rematch but was shot, was stopped on his stool in Manilla in that brutal fight, Seldon was blasted in a round by Bowe but threw his fight v Tyson because he was scared.

A couple of possibilities in Jack Roper and Pete Rademacher. Roper went 65-43-10 in his career having been stopped 15 times with 5 of them coming in the 1st round, including his title fight with Joe Louis. As for Pete, as near as I can figure it (there may be more) I see him down 30 times in his 23 fights. However, take in consideration Pete's learning curve. In those 23 fights he was in with Patterson, Archie Moore, Bobo Olson, Zora Folley, George Chuvalo, Doug Jones, Karl Mildenberger and Brian London. They never gave old Pete much of a chance at the deep end of the pool.

Despite facing a number of heavy punchers, how many times was Bruno knocked down (and cleanly knocked out)

Jumbo Cummings had him out on his feet as did Lewis, Bruno was gone from one hook by Lewis which ended the fight despite Bruno being on his feet on the ropes.

Yep, most would agree that Bruno's chin was average but no where near the worst. Therefore, he doesn't deserve mention on this thread.

Marvis Frazier? Technically his fights against both Tyson and Holmes were non-title matches.
