Problem is in that fight, is that Fury didn't land anything either and the sad thing about that fight is that Parkers 10 punches he landed all fight was enough to get him victory. Hughie was a disgrace in that fight and Parker had no idea how to cut off the ring.
I really disagree. Fury landed far more pitty pat punches than Parker landed anything. Although Fury was incredibly negative, which is a questionable tactic against a belt holder, he hit more and got hit less than Parker. I don't award points for walking forward and barely missing the chins of those in the first row. Parker is pretty rubbish.
He had a great KO highlight reel from his first 10 plus fights put together which were against low level opposition and the odd has been chucked in That Parker has not been seen since he fought Takam
Forgot he fought Takam too. I think Parker falls short in a few areas that put him on the fringes of world level (in an average division) but credit where it's due he's certainly not hid from anyone.
Parker does hold a win over Andy ruiz as well that doesn't get mentioned. The dillian whyte fight still puzzles me. He only got going after being dropped heavily and if there was another round, whyte would have been stopped.
We'll agree to disagree there. Hughie barely landed a thing all fight, his jab wasnt landing at all and he barely threw his right hand all night. I had it 116-112 Parker. The worst part of it is I put myself through watching it twice lol.
Hearn doesn't know what to do with him. He still has something to offer the division. Hopefully Hearn can start matching some of his HW stable against each other instead of just throwing all his eggs into AJ, Whyte and probably Fabio Wardley going forward.

I like Parker, he seems like a good man but I couldn't be less interested in a fight. Maybe that says something about me or my love for boxing at the moment
