Let's not exaggerate like Ruiz is spindly You don't carry that kind of weight around on thin bones. Look he was 260+ when he got off the canvas and stopped "body beautiful" AJ. He was a ridiculous 280+ when he lost a UD. At 240-250 Ruiz is "trim". I'd like to see him back at a max 260. I seriously wonder if we'll ever see 240 Ruiz and if he'll be at his best at that weight.
Great. Now let's see him in a photo that isn't taken from a weird angle and preferably non-photoshopped. We've seen this crap multiple time before, and it's pathetic people are still falling for it. Ruiz is likely in the 250s at best. If he proves me wrong and comes into his next fight in actually decent shape then good on him and I'm happy to, ah, eat my words. But I seriously, seriously doubt I'll have to do that.
Agreed. I can't see him at CW. 240 should be doable if he gets there slowly and smartly. Try to get there over night and for sure you will feel weak. I think his issue is he can't maintain discipline long enough to get in the shape he should be in. He has a good team around him. They know what they are doing. The question is does Ruiz have the humbleness and discipline to listen and follow through.

I don't buy it, he posted pics before the AJ rematch where he looked 50lbs leaner and we all know how he looked like on fight night. Lets see how he looks like next time hes on the scales
