I rate both guys highly, if I had to put money on a winner I'd pick Hunter. Hrgovic has a good jab, is a good combination puncher and has power but he does have a habbit of dtanding too upright and leaves his chin out unprotected (eg Molina caught him flush). Hunter is a tough, aggressive fighter with good movement and hand speed, who times and judges the distance very well.
Hrgovic has got this. One thing I have noticed, he’s ridiculously sloppy when comfortable , sometimes wants to slug, perhaps hunter can land something in close, otherwise Hrgovics to big an talented
Agreed. This how I think it goes. Hrgovic keeps him on the outside for a bit comfortably, then starts laying it on Hunter who responds well, but hrgovic takes him out with something in a slugfest. I think hrgovic walks him down giving hunter a chance to land in the fight but he gets done. A change in tactics from hrgovic will suit Hunter for a couple of rounds
Bootleg Vitali Klitschko vs A fat Cruiserweight Stylistically its a hard fight for Hunter, Hrgovic's size accompanied with his tendency to lean back will give Hunter major problems as Hunter himself likes to come out gunsblazing and then outbox his opponents. Honestly. It depends on Hunters gameplan. Hes got to just close that distance. This fight is too close to pick. Yes Hunter has the better resume but styles make fights. I guess if Hunter is at his BEST game he wins by UD. But idk. We'll see what happens
Hrgovic will win , he is too big for Hunter and he has a good chin. If it comes to brawl Hunter has no chance.
Dear god, I like Hunter and think he has a great shot at this, but against Usyk he took two rounds, maybe drew a couple, and barely survived being stopped in the twelfth. Briedis easily gave Usyk his only tough fight to date, with Chisora being, according to offical scores, #2. Hunter really did no better than Glowacki.
