Jerry Forrest is a madman. Dude got ran over in the first 3 rounds and then just keeps going.
But those bodyshots paid off. He was landing them from the opening bell. Plus he was clearly in great physical condition.
A draw was quite generous for Zhang.

And the ref docking a point saved Forrest from getting robbed.
Wish we had the same ref for Parker vs Fa. Might have made the final rounds a bit more spicy.

 

It was paying $6 to pick the 3rd round with sports bet

 

I've seen people taking a dive do more to try and win.

 

I just googled this and read about it. What a low class, detestable punk. He even admitted to hiding it in backyard.

Then assaulting a woman and her dog... Complete POS he is!

 

I thought that big Chinese mummy was going to pass out in the last round he was so gassed. They actually held his arm as he walked out of the ring. How Forrest couldn't KO him is beyond me. Thankfully though the giant egg roll should vanish after this

I dont get excited for Canelo fights . Without the advantages legal & illegal I have no idea how good he could be doing it alone & on the level

Ah Junlong Zhang, no losses, no draws, no no contests and no decent opponents.

It's a shame he ran out of club fighters and cruiserweight journeymen to KO.

 

Arroyo looked solid tonight against Rodriguez. Real shame him and Martinez didn't steal the show tonight, but maybe it can happen on the Canelo vs Saunders card.

 

Even this ref really should have done more. Excessive holding throughout. Both guys initiated it, but Zhange was doing a lot of heavy leaning, and really, all the holding saved him from a loss.

 

Another fighter that shows up in the ring with Canelo and never leaves first gear, never throws any power punches with intent, just flicks out jabs and eats bombs.

What a disgrace to the sport of boxing. Everyone involved with this should be ashamed.

 

Canelo makes it really hard to care about his fights. I haven't been excited for one of his fights since Jacobs, and that's only because I was in the arena.

 

Canelo did it for his homies in Glendale.

What a farce though.
