Zhang has TERRIBLE stamina and you can't even fix that at his age. Any guy with power who survives the first 2-3 rounds would violently KO him. Forrest unfortunately has zero power otherwise you can probably think about him as a potential Top 15/20 HW. He's bringing the old school US HW boxing back and makes it great again. But the lack of power and also a questionable gas tank + defense are his downfall in high profile fights. But he's decent. He beat Zhang and he beat Franklin, two undefeated prospects. And barely lost to Takam. Good level of opposition. He has a great chin and tremendous heart. Love that guy for some reason.
I do think that Forrest with last nights performance deserves a shot at a Top 20 fighter. He showed lots of heart.
I think forrest is a good gatekeeper for the division. Like to see him get some paydays against the upcoming prospects but I'm not gonna let a comeback performance after 3 knockdowns against a bad hw convince me hes a contender. Zhang should probably just beat up cans for local crowds or retire. He looked seriously like he was gonna keel over by the 9th.
Zhang vs Price will be entertaining for the first 3- 4 rounds. Zhang is a good opponent for making Huggie or Bakole look good if Hearn looks to build them. Forrest has proven to be an undderrated fighter and a tough test, drawing against Zhang, taking about 4 rounds off a declined Takam and should of beaten Franklin.
Zhang is being lined up for a big Chinese payday for one of Matchroom guys. The front runner being Joshua.
Well, I did predict Forrest for the upset, and damn, had the judges called the 10th 10-8 like it should've been. He'd have taken home the W he was robbed of. There''d be no way they could deny him.
They've been hyping that fight for years and its only gotten less lucrative. Maybe if fury beats joshua and AJ needs a comeback fight I could see it but otherwise total waste of time imo.

This is exactly how I felt when I predicted that Fury would fight Kabayel in 2020 months in advance, when everyone else thought the Wilder wight was still a go, and it came within a few bucks on a payday of happening, but didn't. Sucks to have made such a good prediction that just didn't quite get over the finish line.

Yeah, he could have been a decent draw in China if he turned pro right after the 2008 Olympics, they could have gotten him a mandatory spot and a big payday pretty fast. I like the day of him vs Majidov, both of them aren't getting any younger and one of them has already shown his limits. Majidov should get a stoppage win over him, but you never know. Maybe Whyte gets a fight with Zhang if Povetkin spanks him again.
