Will be putting probably the most money I have done on a Saunders win if the price is good. If he’s in his prime Saunders is Canelos kryptonite. Unless canelos learned how to counteract a slick boxer
I don't think he can do it now sadly...3 years ago... maybe...but now..no....hard as it is to get a decision against canelo he might have pulled it off back then...now..no...canelo is peaking and Saunders fights so infrequently....and I'm not entirely sure I trust his gas tank to get him to the finish line
Sadly, your boxing brain isn't adept enough to process that he didn't do close to enough to beat Lara, and 1 knockdown doesn't invalidate everything else Trout did in that match. I would have thought you'd appreciate those two doing excellent Floyd imitations and taking Canelo to slick school.. a lot more. Hmm, weird. Florida from North to South is as long as the UK. Unfortunately Danny you're spot on, I very much doubt the Canelo camp would have taken the fight if they thought BJS had it left in him. Good name but the reality is a distant memory & I guess that would be the same now for GGG III....
BJS at 160 is far better than that **** heap Jacobs. Jacobs has been overrated for years from his fight with GGG all the way to his fight with Rosado. Several fights of his he just seems to give rounds away by doing nothing
Canelo Trout was close you could argue either way. Imo neither deserved it...Trout non existent punches versus an occasional landed punch from Canelo. Trout has shown his level anyway and is good boxer at best Lara on the other hand made him look the flat footed fool he is. Floyd twatted him
Yeah ...watched the Murray fight again and he was panting like a dog rounds 9-12. He wasn't even moving much as well compared to the 160lb BJS. BJS is probably going to get flattened. If he puts up a fight unlike Canelo's last four opponents, BJS may be able to make it interesting. He may as well go for broke, just let his hands go and be aggressive with Canelo, if he gets knocked out then so be it and least he'll give it a go unlike Smith/Kovalev/Yildrim/ etc.
The fights were close with the Lara fight closer than the Trout one . However the facts are the judges scored it for Canelo and he won so that ends the argument really. Now I can understand you not liking it and going the other way but unfortunately you were not one of the official judges who saw it for Santos Saul Alvarez Barragan.
