I would rather see him go for Plant if he beats BJS and then take a crack at Beterbiev. An old GGG isn't anywhere as interesting. But if he won't go for Beterbiev he might as well give GGG a crack at his titles if he beats both BJS and Plant. Hard to see why he would go back down to MW, though.
I thought GGG narrowly won the first fight. Canelo won the second. I don’t want to see a third fight. GGG is done. He will lose embarrassingly to Canelo now. GGG got to make a choice if he wants to walk away with more money or his pride.
GGG is much older, in terms of both chronological age and ring years, is at least a whole weight class smaller and would be giving away a significant amount of weight again, is a clean athlete, and was already way past his best when Clen's judges robbed him in their first two fights. Even if he somehow managed to perform magic and roll back the years and put Father Time in a box temporarily and was able to do enough to pull out a win for the third time they'd just rob him again.
...No he doesn't. Golovkin has already proven he is a hard fight for Alvarez twice and sells better than Charlo or Andrade. No one needs to go through either one of those guys to earn Canelo. Still, I would love to see Golovkin vs. Charlo because it would be #1 against #2.
Canelo earns serious money without Lil G so if he wants it and I mean real wants it he better fight marquee names.

GGG is in no position to offer Canelo anything. If GGG wants a shot at Canelo he needs to move up, and accept the terms the way that Canelo accepted GGG's terms the first two times. Also, if you criticize Canelo for giving Golovkin the rematch a year and a half after their first fight, BUT you love, adore, and give Pacquiao as pass for making JMM wait FOUR years for the rematch, and then almost another FOUR years for the rubbermatch, you're no fan of boxing, you're just a hater and a fanboy.

No one gives him more $$$ than GGG 3 especially in a neutral arena well away from Vegas corruption. Somewhere where GGG has an honest chance of winning a decision Just for once
Very true. But GGG is probably the only fighter in 160-168lb that can hurt Canelo. That in itself, sell the fight big time. He might get robbed of a decision for the third time. GGG might even get stopped now. But he would hurt Canelo for sure in the third fight, and hurt him bad. Canelo knows that and doesn't want it.
Dude, Canelo is the richest active boxer. In his last five fights he's made 135 million dollars. Do you think he cares about making a few measly millions more because its Golovkin? Clearly Canelo is chasing to make history and has stated multiple times that he is going to unify all four titles at 168. Instead of begging and waiting around for Canelo, Golovkin should move up earn his shot against the P4P King.
