As of today Coffee + Kossobutskiy ranked by the WBA. Not sure if they were previously.

 

Also looks like Bogdan Dinu has been climbing up the WBA rankings, now at #3.

 

WBA are such a fraudulent organization..

 

Zhan was fighting for one of those WBA Happy Meal belts (the International title), so it was to be expected. Interesting to see what's going on with Dinu, I guess he's being set up as an opponent for either Wilder or Ruiz Jr. (after he beats Arreola).
Someone like Coffie being Nr. 15 is a lot less of a joke that 3/4 of the guys in the top 10, but don't hate the players, hate the game...

 

I think it may possibly have something to do with his loss to roided up Miller. Dinu may have been looking to take legal action in some way related to it?

 

Yeah, that could be the reason why. If you manage a nice prospect you should really overpay Dinu to get a fight with him, he's a very beatable, ranked opponent.

 

Makhmudov is one that comes to mind.

 

A waste of time and money to focus on a Wba title shot. Just look at the Charr, Bryan, Helenius, Oquendo, Don King mess, dragging for years. No fights, no resolution.
Much better to take the IBF route, or at least the WBO.

 

Yeah, that's also true, the WBA rankings are filled with dead weight.

 

Hemi Ahio moves to 17-0 after a 7th round KO victory over Julius Long on the Parker v Fa under card. A very entertaining bout where both fighters received a standing ovation for their efforts.

 

Enjoyed that one. Fight of the night, for sure.
