Anthony Joshua became a 2x world champion beating: Charles Martin & Andy Ruiz Jr Tyson Fury became a 2x world champion beating: Wladimir Klitschko & Deontay Wilder Martin & Ruiz had 0 successful defenses between them. Klitschko & Wilder had 33 between them. AJ's best wins are all in their 40s, well past their prime (Klitschko & Povetkin), somehow still struggled. AJ also suffered a humiliating loss to Ruiz, being definitively stopped. In the rematch, his team bumped up the ring size from 18ft to 22ft and he proceeded to use every inch of it to run to a points decision on Ruiz How dare someone even compare this overhyped resume to Fury's?
Manufactured A façade A mirage Fury will play with him...& everyone will yet again be shocked... Forgot to include his gifted London gold, Savon schooled him. But hey let AJ run around shouting "2 time!" like it's an achievement when it's not. The house of cards will fall. AJ & Wlad are both highly overrated. big stiff idiots. Great a knocking over midgets. Stick a big man with ability like Fury in front of them they become nothing, telegraphing winging messes with a dopy open mouthed gawp of disbelief.
Joshua is a very good man...but not next to a once in a century fighter like Fury. Will look like it's his first fight. Perspective is everything.
Get a grip....Fury's resume is not very good either. And AJ took the WBO belt from Joseph Parker as well.
IF Fury wins, don't you dare try to use AJ's name as a good win. Since you think so little of AJ. I mean, you do that w/ Deontay despite saying how trash he was.... You can't sell a turd as gold when you advertise it as a turd you know....
It's all those fights in between; Parker Povetkin White AJ basically cleaned out the division Fury's only win over a solid contender was against Chisora. Also, AJ defended his titles. Fury always wins the belts then runs off and hides and doesn't fight anyone. But perhaps most shameful of all is Furys continuous choice of Tim Schwartz and Otto Wailin type opponents. Its one thing when you're coming off a 2 year layoff, but to continuously reach for the bottom of the barrel when you're considered a supposed champion is just downright shameful. For shame!!
I don't agree that he does. Fury unseated Klitschko, Joshua got him a year and a half older and inactive. Whereas I think Joshua has 3-4 guys on his record who could beat Wilder, Wilder was the other "big three" guy, for right or wrong. I think it is Fury, and not by a little bit, in the sense of history, and Boxrec, for one, agrees with me. That being said, I respect Joshua's accomplishments, and hopefully, these arguments will soon be moot. Two good guys, let the better man win.
As has happened many times in boxing....so does that mean all other champions that obtained belts in similar fashion are not good champions?
NEW RULE GUYS: Everytime Xnico recreates this agenda driven propaganda thread, we all have to take a shot. Whiskey, Tequila, whatever. At his current rate of these threads we will all be hammered by tomorrow.
