I think some of you forget how average Shane was after his first fight w/ Vern Forrest. No confidence and completely gunshy. Viper took his trigger!
Y’all love throwing that word “master” out to just about anybody. Crawford is far away from being considered a “master” boxer. Dude has mad skills inside the ring, but he’s not a master of anything.
Not comparing thier styles i was just referring to the "iron" Chins statement, Obviously Crawford has better defense but he's also hittable and has been down against smaller men, Mosley would've had no problem landing repeatedly until stopping him.
What has Crawford done or who has he beaten to actually think he has a chance against any version of Mosley?
I don't go look strictly at a resume to make choices, and pick whoever has the better resume. That's stupid to do. Who did Buster Douglas KO to make anyone think he could beat Mike Tyson? Who did Rahman beat to let anything think he can beat Lewis. Not to mention, who did Vernon Forrest beat to let ANYONE think he'd dominate Shane twice. How could Cotto beat Shane when Shane had the better resume?! Weird huh??? If this is how your brain thinks, you have no clue what you look at during a fight. And I said Pre-Forrest, who beat Oscar in the first fight, and post-Forrest, who turned in to a gun-shy boxer w/ little confidence like he used to have. You don't know how to break a fight down due to factors, since you just kissass Canelo and pick him over everyone. Stay in your swim lane noob...
I don’t remember anyone thinking Duster Bouglas was going to KO Mike Tyson. Mike was a massive favorite and rightfully so.
If anyone did, and bet on it, they made a killing! It's funny...for some posters, the only way to beat the better fighter is to have already have beaten, a better fighter.
For some. But I think the lack of opposition on Crawford’s resume is a fair point. He really hasn’t beaten anyone at 147 worth a damn. That has to be a factor but not the only one.
That is a good point. For me, the best version of Shane at 147, no doubts he wins. He just had a short time as an elite until Viper derailed.
Vernon was a really good boxer and had the advantages of being “unknown” to the public. But outside of speed he had advantages over Shane. But most important was his composure and gameplay. Just like we seen with Valdez recently, it’s that composure and ability to stick with the plan that got them over the hump. When he fought Mayorga and came into the ring the way he did, I immediately felt like he was in trouble. He seemed to not be focused and it cost him dearly. In their rematch Mayorga had a clear mental edge.
Douglas?? Rahman?? You actually believe Crawford will ko Mosley??? And what does Canelo have to do with this?
Did I say ANYWHERE Crawford would KO Mosley? Damn dude...can you even read English??? What does canelo have to do with this? I was saying you are just a dumb canelo kissass... holy crap...you are dumb dumb dumb....
What Viper derailed?? Mosley still put up a fight against a PRIME undefeated Cotto who many believe it could've gone either way, beat DLH in a rematch and put a good fight against Wright in the rematch even in defeat, Destroyed your hero Margarito and almost took out Mayweather, Mosley was still very good after Forrest.
Mosley won ONE big fight after using steroids to beat Oscar in the rematch jackass. Just STFU noob... go jerk it to your canelo and menudo posters....
