Haney is nowhere near Lopez`s level and doesn`t have his power, Loma will able to fight his usual way and will box Haney`s ears off.

Loma wide UD. Haney needs to get busy. He should face someone like Tank first. Neither guy has done much to even hold a belt, except have the right people around them.

Haney hasnt moved from domestic level yet, he is basically a prospect. ask the question again when he beats some top 20 fighters at least

I like Haney as a young fighter but would rather see him get a few more fights before facing Loma. Guys develop at different rates and I think Haney has the size and athleticism to be very good. Just don’t think he’s ready to make this jump. Also, a loss will give the other young LWs an excuse to avoid Haney. This would be my biggest concern. Win or lose it would be great experience for Haney.

Would rather see Loma move to 130 but don’t expect that to happen with all the big money guys at 135. As long as the top guys fight each other, LW will be a very exciting division. If they fight a bunch of no hopers, or BS mandatories, it will be a shame.

Haney can box. Make no mistake.

Still, I do think Loma would outbox him and outwork him because he does!’t have to worry himself that he is going to get slept by a short uppercut, or big power shot.

Can’t quibble with any of it, but I’d still rather see this fight now, as we might never get a better opportunity. Both free. Both looking to climb.

I agree. Would rather see the Tel rematch instead of the bum no hoper mandatory he’s fighting but that’s another matter. This fight would be entertaining. I just hope it Haney loses, the cowards don’t use the loss as an excuse to avoid him. Guys like Tank who are busy protecting the zero. Haney has good size and I think we still haven’t seen his full potential.

I agree regarding the “zero effect”. Haney would pose to challenge to any and all fighters near his weight.

Haney goddamn clout-chasing and using Lomachenko's name for headlines. Haney don't really want it.

LOL Lopez's level.. No. The only reason Lopez was competitive with Loma is because he looked like he weighed 150lbs in the ring against Loma (natural 130lber). Typical weight bully. Not to mention Loma had a ****ed shoulder and still proceeded to make Lopez defenceless in the second half.

Lopez should have lost to Nakatani anyway...

That said Haney is also a massive hypejob
